FAR & EAST Asian Brasserie — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Have been to couple of 5 star restaurants like Conrad, courtyard,Leela etc but one thing I didn't experience which I did in far and east restaurant in 5 star property four seasons is the substandard quality of waiters and waitress. Food is decent and beverage also good however the reason why I wouldn't visit again as the experience was unpleasant . When we visit a 5 star restaurant and pay 3 times the cost of food it's not just the food we pay for but the ambience the experience and most importantly the service . Here what I noticed is the waiters were more attentive and concerned about big groups from whom they would get good tips or may be big buck. Being in 5 Star restaurant one should get overall a top notch experience however I would say the waiters n waitress need to first work in some local restaurant to learn basic courtesy and manners from any local or regular restaurant . I hope the manager or hotel do read my review and work on their staff so that other people do not experience unpleasant behavior of staff after paying huge amount for the food. In a nutshell the waiters and particularly female waitress working in this restaurant have cold behavior. They do not clean tables to keep it ready for next customer we have to wait for long n remind them . Next they don't bother to come n take orders we have to call them inspite of them aware that we are waiting to place order. Waiters keep running around but are not attentive . Courtesy like serving food before asking or serving at all, ensuring customers are attended and made comfortable is not their forte. I don't know if the managers are aware that their staff really needs training or manners . I wouldn't visit again or recommend to my friends n family as any regular restaurant would have much better service oriented people then the so called 5 star...
