I have been a regular visitor to this restaurant for the past 15 years, dining here at least once a month. The food is nothing short of extraordinary, offering a true taste of authentic Mandya-style non-vegetarian cuisine. The ragi muddhe is perfectly soft and pairs beautifully with the hearty, flavorful mutton leg soup that is brimming with spices and a rich, soulful aroma. The mutton chops are tender and infused with a delightful blend of traditional spices. Their biryani is really good —each grain of rice is aromatic, cooked to perfection, and the meat is succulent, adding a depth of flavor that lingers long after the meal, i like very much with sherwa. The chicken 65 is a sensory delight, added with egg burji, crispy on the outside yet juicy and packed with a fiery kick of flavor inside.
What sets this place apart is the consistency in quality and the care evident in every dish. The spices are bold yet balanced, the ingredients are fresh, For anyone seeking an authentic Mandya culinary journey, this spot is an absolute treasure. Highly...
Read moreDisgusting customer service..! Ordered for lunch, finished eating the first thing that I ordered and then ordered for another dish which had a small surprise packed in it for me, which was a baby cockroach. Showed that to the old man there (guess he is the owner of that place) and he justs starts closing my leaf on which I was eating and tells me, 'it's fallen off by mistake, it's fine now, let the others eat in peace don't make this an issue' and walks off without an apology too. Later asked the service boy to take off the second item on the bill and bill for the rest. When I asked him for an apology, that old man, without even considering his own old age starts pushing me out and shouting. Later, another younger man from that place came and asked for an apology and sorted it. However, this is the worst customer service I have ever seen and wouldn't suggest this place to a single soul on this planet..! Wouldn't let my dogs eat here...
Read moreI found a cockroach roaming on our table, although the place looked clean and that definitely was a big turn off. Very average naati food. I tried out the Mutton Beegara Oota and I have to the say the Mutton Masala as well as the small amount of biryani rice were both average in taste and lacked the spicy kick and these are the main dishes. I have tried out quite a few places with great Naati food but I definitely cannot recommend this one if you are looking for spicy naati mutton/chicken meals. Food is filling although mutton oota is overpriced in my opinion. The Ragi Mudde with the Gowdru special chicken masala is good though. Avoid this place if you can.
Visit for: Naati food which is not very spicy. Ragi Mudde and their special chicken curry or Mudde Oota which is priced very well.
Avoid because: No amazing spicy naati biryani/curry. Average taste, overpriced. Cleanliness...
