Asha Sweets Center deserves all the points possible for its amazing food. It’s surprising that its full menu isn’t available online. Don’t be fooled by the name of the place; their savoury dishes are splendid.
The restaurant is spread across 4 floors. Each floor provides something different – sweets, snacks, chaats, and meals. Each floor looks beautiful. The ambience is great and the environment is always chilly.
We started off with some Paneer Tacos. While I like to stick with the classic Mexican version, this Indian twist might appeal to a few. I know that my food companions loved it. It’s tangy and has a tandoori finish. The taco itself was crispy. Next came the Farm Fresh Pizza. If you love super cheesy pizzas, this is the dish for you. While the crust wasn’t perfect, the toppings were fresh, the sauce was flavorful, and the cheese was plentiful.
The king of the lunch had to be the Thalis we ordered. This North Indian treat takes a while to be made but from what I was told, everything on our plate was freshly made and it showed. The thali comes with Tandoori Roti, Boondi Raita, Papad, Salad, Rasmalai, Biryani, Subzi, Dal Makhani, and Paneer Makhanwala. The dal and paneer are possibly one of the best versions I have had in a restaurant. The biryani goes well with the raita. The dessert was the perfect finishing touch. The thali is almost too much for one person to finish. I highly recommend this dish.
Fair warning – the food takes a while to arrive but it’s definitely worth it. Service is great. There are plenty of servers available for each floor.

Read moreAs someone visiting Bangalore from out of town, I was told by multiple locals not to miss Asha Sweets—and I’m glad I listened. This place is clearly a household name here, and after trying it myself, I can see why.
I visited their Jayanagar outlet on a friend’s recommendation, and the first thing that stood out was the crowd. It’s always a good sign when a place is busy for the right reasons. The shop was clean, staff were efficient, and despite the rush, I didn’t have to wait too long to get my order.
I tried the Mysore Pak, which completely lived up to the hype—soft, rich, and not overly sweet. The Badam Milk was another standout—served warm and flavorful, perfect for a slightly breezy evening. I also picked up a mixed sweet box to take home, and the variety and quality were impressive.
The snacks section is decent too—I had a samosa and some kachori, both fresh and crisp. I didn’t try the online delivery, but judging by how fast things moved in-store, I’d recommend going there in person if you can.
For someone not from Bangalore, Asha Sweets feels like a great way to experience a slice of the city’s traditional food culture. It’s not fancy or over-the-top—it’s authentic, well-priced, and made with care. If you want to taste something that locals actually swear by, this is a solid choice. Definitely...
