La Roi — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Hey! Recently visited Laroi bakery in HSR layout to try their lip smacking dishes. Various items like French Entrements, puddings, cakes , coffee , breads,crackers etc. This cute little place as a beautiful ambience and the staff are extremely sweet which made my experience all the more satisfying.

Their french entrements are something which is a very unique. It is made with 7 layers of goodness all coming together to give you a heavenly experience. The nutty hazelnut and cream berryzire were tasty and i totally loved this cute dishes.

Coming to their bowl desserts they gave choco ganche pudding , red velvet pudding, tiramisu and tres Leches. Their Tres Leches was easily their must try dish ,I loved every bit of it and their tiramisu had a nice coffee flavour to it. They have a brewing machine and serve some fresh coffee to your table which was refreshing.

Coming to their puffs it's the best I've ever had , their speciality is that they use butter and mozzarella to make their puffs compared to dalda used in other places. The place is extremely overrated and expensive. After a lot of hype I tried the tres leches and it honestly just felt like bread dipped in cold coffee and condensed milk. They also had something that tasted like rasmalai which is simply not how tres leches should taste. I mean, if that's the case I could just have rasmalai.

The cafe is well maintained and really neat. The items on display look good too. However the asking price is simply not worth it as these are not authentic.

Lastly, I would also like to say that the tres leches was extremely sweet. A little too sweet for a dessert. My one cheat day for dessert and I was extremely disappointed.

La Roi in HSR Layout is not to be missed! A French patisserie inspired Cafe it is. Their signature dish is a French Entremet. An Entramè has a crunchy sablé as a base, sponge on top, frozen compote, frosting and icing to the fish with a garnish. This comes in red velvet black forest and dark chocolate variants, It's perfection here at La Roi. They also have fresh breads on the go, the curry leaf bread and cookies are my favourite which has a bit of Indian touch. The multi grain bread is where, you can see the grains actually.
