Read moreIla is one of those places that instantly wins you over with its chic ambience and thoughtful cocktails. We tried two of their signature drinks and a main course.
Symphony: A beautifully balanced cocktail that truly lives up to its name. The blend of gin, lychee, and lime infused with lemongrass and jasmine syrup created a refreshing harmony of citrusy, herbal, and floral notes. Served over block ice and garnished with lemongrass and a jasmine flower, it was elegant both in presentation and taste.
Mr. Tammy: A bold mix of tequila, tamarind paste, citric acid, and magic foamer, topped with tamarind candy. Tangy, rich, and velvety — it had a fun Indian twist that worked perfectly.
We also ordered a veg sabji with Malabar parotta, which was decent but could’ve been better in flavour and texture compared to the standout cocktails.

Read moreVisited Ila on a Friday evening for the first time. The place wasn’t crowded, and we got a table immediately. The ambience is simple and clean, with a pleasant green-themed interior nothing too vibrant, but still cozy enough for a relaxed meal.
The menu offers a mix of Kerala-style, Andhra-style, and typical roadside-style dishes. While the variety isn’t extensive, the options are interesting. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are available. The drink menu, however, is quite diverse and has plenty to choose from. Desserts could use some improvement there were only about 5–6 options.
Service was quick and the staff were polite and attentive. Portion sizes were generous and felt fair for the price. Taste-wise, everything was delicious, though I personally found it a bit on the spicier side.
They also provide valet parking, which is a plus.
