The Feline Club of India (FCI) has organized several cat shows in Bangalore, showcasing a variety of breeds and promoting feline welfare. One notable event was the 17th and 18th Championship Cat Show held on February 23, 2020, which featured over 180 cats from across India.

These events typically include competitions, exhibitions by pet brands, fun activity zones, and cat adoption drives, aiming to engage cat enthusiasts and the general public.

I recently attended an event at the Jayamahal Palace Exhibition Centre, and it was an experience worth noting. The venue itself has a classic, royal ambiance thanks to the beautiful historic palace setting, which adds a unique charm that’s hard to find in other convention centers. The lush greenery surrounding the area creates a peaceful atmosphere, and it’s easy to forget you’re right in the heart of the city.

The facilities were well-maintained, though the layout could be a bit confusing at first, especially for first-time visitors. Clearer signage would be helpful for guests to navigate the different halls and amenities more easily. The parking was ample, which was a relief given that many venues in Bangalore often struggle with this. However, the event staff could be more proactive in managing traffic flow to prevent occasional congestion during peak hours.

Inside, the exhibition spaces were spacious and well-lit, allowing the event setup to shine without feeling cramped. The air conditioning was effective and kept the venue comfortable throughout the event. One minor downside was the restroom facilities, which could use a bit of modernization to align with the overall grandeur of the venue.

Overall, Jayamahal Palace Exhibition Centre is a stunning venue with a lot of potential for a wide variety of events. With a few improvements in logistics and amenities, it could truly elevate the guest experience. I would certainly recommend it for anyone looking to host an event in an elegant, historic setting...

Whether you're attending an ongoing event or exhibition, you'll have the opportunity to meet inspiring startup owners, passionate creators of homemade and handmade businesses, and connect with their fascinating stories.

I had a wonderful experience visiting the Karigar Bazaar at the Jayamahal Palace Exhibition Centre in Bangalore. The venue itself added a royal charm to the event, and the bazaar was a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and craftsmanship from across India. Each stall showcased unique handmade products – from exquisite textiles, jewellery, and home décor to organic products and artisanal foods. What impressed me most was the sheer variety and quality of the items, along with the passion and warmth of the artisans. It was not just shopping – it felt like a cultural journey where you could interact directly with the creators and learn about the stories behind their work. The event was well-organized, with ample space to explore, a friendly atmosphere, and plenty of food stalls to keep you refreshed. Overall, Karigar Bazaar was a delightful experience and a perfect place to discover authentic Indian handicrafts while supporting skilled artisans. I’m already looking forward to the next edition!
