Been here many times. The puliogare is out of the world. Wonderful service and great ambience. This was an update i wrote a few months ago.
Recently on the 09th of January'21, i decided to take my family out for Dinner. The orders that we placed with their ratings and review is below. Cream of Tomato Soup - 2/10 : No cream and the soup was not the usual. French Fries - 1/10 - My two lil boys aged 8 & 3.5 love this and we order it everytime. Unfortunately the fries were brownish in color and were overcooked. Gobi Manchurian - 9/10 : One of the 2 good dish in my entire order. Sev Puri - 1/10 : Ordered 2 and requested that 1 should be completely sweet (0% spicy) & the other to be mildly spiced. Turned out a disaster, the sweet one did not have any sweetness and the mild one was only spicy. Butter Kulcha : 8/10 : The other dish after the manchurian which was good. Veg Makhanwala : 1/10 : This is our favorite and turned out to be pile of nothingness. The taste was not usual and was too soury, tasted more like a sour tomato gravy. Chocolate Nut Sundae : 2/10 : Everything was just dumped, there were not enough nuts but overloaded with Tutti Fruti (Is that nuts??)
Will i visit again, Yes hoping that i dont encounter the same experience. By the way i paid my bill and tipped the waiter because end of the day Food deserves its respect.

Read moreHotel Kadamba Veg (also referred to as Kadamba Veg Restaurant) is a popular pure vegetarian eatery in Bengaluru, specializing in a mix of South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese dishes. It's known for its traditional Karnataka-style meals, sweets, and beverages, and it also features a party hall for events. The restaurant emphasizes fresh, tasty vegetarian food and is a go-to spot for locals seeking affordable breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Easily accessible by public transport or cab; parking is available but can be challenging during peak hours due to the busy location. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian-only dishes, including vegan options. Cuisines include South Indian staples, North Indian curries, Chinese-inspired items, biryanis, mithai (sweets), shakes, and beverages. It's famous for using pure ghee in sweets and traditional preparations like Akki Rotti, Bisi Bele Bhath, Puliyogare, Khara Bhath, and Pongal. However the dishes were on a Spicier 🌶 🌶 🌶 side. Maybe this is to cater to the preference of the customers of this area who generally prefer spicy food. We had Paav bhaaji, Kadamba Veg Special mix Veg gravy which was very spicy, garnished with cut sliced bananas 🍌. 😔 😟 The 1st floor service hall dining area was full with customers and so was the ground floor area with self service option. Overall, it's recommended for family meals, quick bites, and vegetarian-friendly options in a...
Read moreTerrible service. We entered at around 4 pm, after the typical lunch hours. The table and chairs that we got were dirty. After changing our table the new waiter did not even wait on us. A worker had to come and take our order. After which we were served COLD food. We had ordered samosa masala which was very slightly warm - not how you would expect a chaat to be especially when you are paying Rs. 60 for something that's available at a third of the price at much better quality outside. We asked the waiter to heat the dish but he argued very rudely saying that that is how the dish is served and it cannot be hotter. He did not let us return the dish and get it hotter and then forced us to order something else instead. The remaining food was good but the waiter was very rude and the service was bad. We felt unwelcome for the rest of our time at the restaurant. After we finished eating they brought in the bill and the waiter and worker stood beside our table as if waiting for us to leave as soon as possible. The worst experience had at any restaurant at Bangalore. Never...
