King of Taste — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Last week, I tried the most hyped king of taste shawarma meal in Kalyan Nagar. I have seen many reels highlighting the unique and authentic Arabic flavour, which stands out from the rest of the shops in Bangalore, and I have to say I was not disappointed. As an ex-NRI, I can say the taste was almost similar to the Gulf shawarmas I had. The taste was absolutely spot-on with juicy and tender chicken. We ordered a plate of fries, an Arabic salad, broast, and a shawarma meal. The shawarma meal was good, as I have mentioned earlier. I absolutely loved the Arabic salad; it had hummus, Baba ghanoush, and a vegetable salad mix, I am not sure of the name. It was so fresh and tasty. The broast was also good and had a unique spicy flavour compared to our Indian-style broasts, but the problem was it was not properly rested before serving, which caused the oil to drip over the plate. Price-wise, I felt it's a bit high for a shawarma meal, which cost 290. Otherwise, it would have been a good deal. Highlight: You'll get a side of crispy potato chips with every meal you order.

Overall, I loved the experience and taste they had to offer. Considering the shawarmas I had previously in Bangalore, this one really stands out in flavour. If you're looking for a change of taste, I do recommend trying...

We ordered the shaverma meal, which was tasty... It took about 15-20 mins after ordering but was glad it tasted good. We also ordered the chicken Mandi.. it looked good when I had the first bite it smelled off.. i thought it was the smell when rice is not washed requested for chutney and Mayo.. but the smell was getting even intense when I couldn't eat another bite. To my surprise I smelt the rice it was ok.. then smelt the chicken and it's was spoilt. I immediately stopped eating and informed the staff. They took the plate to the kitchen and came back with the same plate stating it's fine it's smoked. I've have so many Mandi infact unable to finish a quarter portion have asked to parcel as well.. but here 3 bites and felt awful.. the staff kept denying again asking if I've had mandi before. They also added it to the bill.. I again had to explain and they told it was prepared in the afternoon so many we have sold no complaint bla bla bla.. i had to explain the same thing 3 times then they decided to take it off the bill.. but it left a bad experience will not come...

Absolutely terrible!! Ordered a Broasted Chicken Meal and Grill Chicken Mandi.

Broasted Chicken was good.

Grill Chicken Mandi was horrendous, chicken had not a single grain of salt or any other seasonings and was as dry as it can get. The mandi rice was THE WORST, it smelt like paint and to be cautious I served a single spoon on to my plate to taste it and a single bite made me nauseous.

On talking to to the guy at the cash counter he went to the kitchen twice with the bowl and said 'this good" and then disappeared.

I had to leave an entire bowl of rice to waste, which made my stomach churn.

When I went to pay there was now another guy who had no concern even when we complained the same to him, arguing didn't seem right to me so I paid in full.

I saw that most of the people were leaving good amount of the food on the plate with disgust on their face. Looks like it was not just me.

Hygiene is definitely an issue with this place.
