Authentic Middle Eastern Flavors in the Heart of HRBR – A Must-Try Spot! Middle East Restaurant – HRBR Layout, Bangalore
As a Google Master Reviewer with over a crore views, I’m always on the lookout for places that offer something more than just a meal – an experience. Middle East Restaurant in HRBR Layout does exactly that, and quite impressively!
Ambiance – 4.5/5 Chic yet minimal, the interiors carry a casual yet stylish charm. Arabic tunes playing subtly in the background elevate the vibe, giving you a feel of Doha or Dubai right in Bangalore. Clean seating, prompt air conditioning, and decent spacing make it comfortable even during rush hours.
Food – 5/5 This place delivers true Middle Eastern magic on a plate.
What I Loved:
Chicken Mandi: Tender, flavorful, and fragrant. The rice was cooked to perfection with a generous portion of juicy meat.
Hummus with Pita: Smooth, creamy, and clearly fresh – not the packaged taste you get elsewhere.
Grilled Chicken Plate: Smoky, slightly charred, with a hit of authentic Arabian spices.
Khubz + Garlic Sauce Combo: Simple, fresh, and delightful.
Service – 4.7/5 Polite staff, knowledgeable about the menu. Service was quick, with food served hot. They’re happy to customize spice levels if asked.
Price Point – Moderate Average meal for two: ₹600–₹900 Great value for the portion sizes and authenticity you get.
What Could Improve: Seating capacity is limited. Peak hours may require a short wait. Online reservations or takeaway might be a better bet during weekends.
Extra Insight (Data Check): The popularity of Arabic cuisine has seen a 30% rise in urban India post-2022, and HRBR Layout is emerging as a go-to food zone among young foodies. Middle East Restaurant taps into this demand beautifully, offering traditional dishes in a format appealing to Indian palates.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying out the shawarma from here . I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the overall dining experience.
First of all, the shawarma itself was delicious. The meat was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spices to give it a little kick without being overpowering. In addition, the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating and a warm, welcoming ambiance. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in, and the service was top-notch throughout my entire meal.
All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic shawarma experience. The food is top-quality, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is just right for a casual meal with friends or family. Don't miss out on this gem of...
Read moreCame here for a quick bite of shavarma after seeing some of the reviews. But to the surprise it didn't turn out to be a pleasant one. Had ordered the shavarma & special shake for the day. The crowd kept pouring in & most of them being the family crowd. The special shake came first and it looked fancy at first. But it was all messy and eventually became a mess. Didn't live to its name & it's a thumbs down. The shavarma came late & I found it to very chewy and dry. This was no where close to one of Bengaluru's finest (shavarma) which is near Kullapa circle. There was very little mayo in it & the meat was pretty much less for the price they offer. I never expected this on a late Saturday evening.
P.S: the rating/review is purely based on the shavarma & the...
