I have heard the name of this restaurant from my friend Mr. Kapoor since the day I have met him and finally I got a chance to visit this restaurant on one fine raining evening.
On arrival, I was shocked to see an entire empty restaurant, but my friend assured me that the food was good.
Being a proud Panjabi, my friend did order a chhole bhature and lassi for himself, and I did settle for the safer option, aloo pyaas paratha.
As we were the sole customers at the restaurant, we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. We chose the corner table. While we fought over some topics, our dinner was ready to be served. First we got our aloo pyaas paratha, a single paratha cut into 2 pieces served with mango pickle and boondi raitha. With the good quantity of stuffing, the parathas did taste good.
By the time we finish our parathas, there were lassi and chhole bhature.Bhatures were round and huge with lots of greasy effect on them (obviously they were fried in oil),Chholes were full of masala and could see the oil was used abundantly too cook it.
Usually I choose Chhaas over lassi, but this time I tried the lassi,Trust me I am sticking to buttermilk forever for sure.

Read moreIt was a mistake buying chats here. Utterly disappointed. The place has good lights, tables and the fancy stuff but the main thing, which is the food is very poor. The masala puri and bhel that I bought here were both stale and smelly. They had gone bad by the time I returned home. (I had taken parcel)
Another thing is that the prices displayed on the board are misleading. They add taxes on top of it while billing. This practise is unethical. Generally in fast food / chat restaurants the prices displayed are the prices billed. This place does not practise this.
Furthermore, the prices themselves are expensive and a bit on the higher range.
No wonder the place is not very crowded as people have better and more economical options around.
Infact, to be frank, a roadside chat stall will offer better chats than this place at less than half the price.
Avoid this place if you want chats, or generally if you want to have good food which is worth the...

We took a parcel of pav bhaji and aloo parathas from here.
The very sight of the food as soon as we opened the package was unappealing.
The pav was burnt. Bhaji was extremely watery and looked unusually reddish, and tasted pathetic (only tomato taste, looked like no other veggies or masalas were used while making the bhaji). Onions that were given, were not diced finely like it should be done for chaats. Found some pieces of Onion that had turned pale, which meant the onions were refrigerated. Only the lemon slice was good and fresh!
We had aloo paratha, which tasted more like pepper paratha and less like aloo paratha. The dough wasn't fresh. Probably the worst aloo paratha ever tasted!
We waited almost 30 mins for the parcel, after the order...
