Mataam Al Tur — Restaurant in Bengaluru

As salaam,

We had been to this restaurant yesterday evening and had a very very bad experience with regards to "TASTE", "QUALITY" & "QUANTITY".

We had ordered a mix platter plate for Rs1500/- for three of us.

PRESENTATION: so bad we didn't feel like eating.

QUANTITY: Mutton piece was less than 50gms and it was so chewy, tasteless that we couldn't eat it completely. The chicken piece was also one side leg piece. The other two items were also not good and was not all worth for 1500. I made one small mistake of not taking the photo.

QUALITY: RICE was not cooked properly and overly coated with cinnamon powder and other stuff. No body adds coriander to the rice.

TASTE: The food was SERVED ALMOST "COLD" and not a single grain of food was tasty.

Absolutely very bad experience with dine-in and rest if you feel like experiencing you can try and update. If anyone of you dare to try that 1500/- meal, kindly post the photo and your experience.

The waiters/Serving person didn't had any idea about how much mutton would be served and inspite of telling them we have come to their newly opened restaurant for the first time, they didn't bother to even check on us how was the food.

I didn't wanted to write like this on a public forum and instead just wanted to share the experience to someone authorised at the billing counter. The guy at the counter was showing off and was telling you can give feedback on...

Dining Experience: Our experience at Mataam al Tur was above average, with a pleasant ambiance and comfortable seating. Although I have only sampled the Mandi, Mutton platter, and desserts, it would be unfair to judge the entire menu based on these limited choices. This initial experience has left a positive impression, and I look forward to exploring more of their extensive offerings.

Service: The service was commendable, as the staff attended to us promptly upon entering. During our meal, there was minimal delay, and if any item was delayed, they informed us and provided an ETA.

Hygiene and Quality: While the hygiene and quality were generally good, would recommend paying attention to the cleanliness of dining plates for an improved experience.

Must-Try Dishes: Highly recommend trying the Mutton Platter and Goli Soda, which were standout dishes and added to our dining enjoyment.

Parking: Parking arrangements are self-managed, but we found it manageable, especially for dinner visits, as roadside parking is...

I recently visited Mataam Al Tur and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely poor and far from what I expected. Though they claim to offer authentic Hyderabadi cuisine, the food was nowhere close in taste — it was bland, unhygienic, and quite unappetizing.

The overall ambiance was also unpleasant. The private cabins had a strong, musty odor, and the cleanliness of the handwash and washroom area left a lot to be desired. It felt neglected and unclean, which really takes away from the dining experience.

The staff seemed unprofessional and uninterested in attending to basic service requests, which only added to the frustration.

I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both the hygiene and service quality. Until then, I personally wouldn’t recommend...
