Maverick & Farmer Coffee — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Fancy a cup of coffee with a view of football happening all around you? Head to Maverick & Farmer Coffee right away and enjoy this unique experience. Maverick and Farmer have their estate in Coorg, Karnataka and they get their fresh beans all the way to this store in Ulsoor to spread their love of coffee to the locals. The food here is superb, the staff is great, and you will have a nice time watching some football action as well. We had the following while we were at Maverick & Farmer Coffee.

Plain Cold Coffee was well presented, the ratio of milk to coffee was perfect, and the taste was great as well.

Dark Hot Chocolate was a clear winner. The hot milk, with a cube of dark chocolate that needs to be immersed and mixed, was a unique way of making your own hot chocolate. The dark chocolate was rich in flavor and it mixed well with the milk.

The Butter Croissant was small, nice, and flaky. The butter was in abundance and it was a nice pairing with a cup of coffee.

Good OL’ Chicken Burger served with hot potato chips, with a mayo dip and sauce was splendid. The burgers here are not round, they are square and as unique as it could be. The crispy chicken patty with the sauces and the finely made buns were indeed one of the best burgers in the city.

Chatpata French Fries was well cooked, although the chatpata masala was nothing great, like the masala had no effect in terms of the taste and that was disappointing.

Birds’ Eye Chilly and Parmesan Spaghetti is their version of the Aglio E Olio pasta. This dish was perfectly cooked, the pasta was good with the right amounts of olive oil, and garlic. The quantity was decent and one could enjoy this dish without any hassle.

Maverick & Farmer has valet parking available, they have a good amount of tables here and we did not have to wait for long to be seated and served. You can even work out of this cafe while you sip on your coffee. You can find them at 32, Gangadhara Chetty Road, Ulsoor, Bangalore.

Maverick and Farmer Cafe located next to RBANMS Grounds, Ulsoor is a go to place for some fresh brewed Coffee in particular and Beverages in general. The well thought, designed and conceived menu is a must try.

Spread across 2 floors, this cute little place can easily accommodate around 60-70 pax at full capacity. The interiors is just right with a view to the football stadium attached to the cafe. A beautiful place to spend time with friends,family and your Pet.

Cheers to the Chef, Brew Master and the friendly Staff who spread happiness on the table through their amazing food, beverages and service.

Service is amazingly fast and Servers go the extra mile in keeping the patrons happy. A special shout out to the Manager Mr. Som for his effective management of this cute cafe.

The Food Menu recommendations -

• No Nonsense Chicken Sandwich - perhaps one of the good sandwich have tried of late. Served with fresh potato chips as add on. • ⁠Crunchy Noisy Chicken Strips- a dish that can never go wrong. Perfect • ⁠French Fries- any outing is incomplete without this humble starter • ⁠I’ll Have What She Is Having Chicken Burger- One of the highly recommended dish here. A perfect well balanced burger on the ingredients, taste and quantity. Served with potato chips as add on with dips • ⁠Cappuccino with Jaggery - there is a saying in Coffe Connoisseur Circle- A GREAT COFFE NEVER REQUIRES SUGAR/JAGGERY to be added. This CUP OF JOY is brewed to absolute perfection and I relished every sip without adding any Jaggery. Best in Class. Would love to have this any day.

A outing for a 2 would cost around Rs 1000 to Rs 1200/- with a couple of Starters, a Main course and Beverages. Menu is very competitively priced for the quality food and beverage they serve.

Reservations recommended but not mandatory.

Definitely would love to visit the Cafe again on any given day.

My coffee preference totally depends on my mood, though the coffee aroma is so calming even for not a hardcore caffeine addict like me. Mostly I prefer milk-based coffee and at times pour-over or cold brew. When you order coffee and see the brewer making it in an incredible Italian Coffee machine and before serving he/she creates a small coffee art in the cup, you know your day is sorted.

I started with their Signature latte - Toasted Almond and this nutty flavored coffee was perfect for the rainy afternoon. They have an elaborate breakfast menu and we tried their Turkish eggs. The medley of oozy eggs with greek yogurt was simply the best I had in town. The second coffee I tried was so special, 'Clarified Cappuccino', made through a special process where they extract milk particles from the cappuccino and it's served like an iced coffee. Other interesting Coffees to try at Maverick Cafe - Ol' Smoky (Pour-over) - A medium roast, smoky, Toffee flavored cold coffee, which is the world's first and only cold-smoked coffee.

'Spresso Citron - Another interesting must-try coffee if you like the citrusy taste. It's hard to miss this shaken, not stirred frozen espresso with a dash of orange and chocolate flavors.

From the food menu, I tried their Crispy Chicken Burger and 'The Medit Edit Pizza'. The Burger had crispy double chicken patties, jalapeno, lettuce, served along with dips and potato wafers. The main highlight of the pizza was that it had eggplants and surprisingly this combo of smoked eggplants, sun-dried tomatoes and pesto created a burst of flavors.

They have board games and books, and also this cafe is 'Pet-friendly'. I went to this Cafe with a coffee junkie and both of us loved the experience. I'm definitely gonna...
