Today we had been to mcdonald's at lulu mall bengaluru with my children for a quick bites, I had ordered 2 chicken suprise burger meal and 2 egg regular meal, unfortunately the ordered was the taken by the store manager it self, who was not pleasent in nature and dis graceful attitude. He asked for a milk shake or any add on to the meal I said no and asked was just normal soft drink would be suffient for now, he just gave a me piece of token number 379 after making the payment ( no invoice was given), told me to wait for 10 minutes as I had few other order at taco bell and burger King I was not in a hurry.
After a while one of the staff calls my number and my child went to collect the order, they supplied all four meal just like a scrap, with no ketchup, tissues, burnt fries and no soft drinks.
When I went to the counter to check, the staff was not bothered and when I asked for 2 coke and 2 sprite they said they cannot give any other drinks as it is mentioned as coke in the bill where as in this case the so called store manager had never aksed about which soft drink is required per meal nor gave me the bill to confirm the orfer. Next the store manager who was near by rudely says that this what I told told and started arguing like a market seller.
I am really disappointed with kind of service provided by this unprofessional manager and wonder how best customer giant like mcdonald's employs such people who pull down the brands reputation.
I had been to many Mc donalds in bangalore where all staff are polite and gentle but this place...
Read moreMcDonald’s: Childhood nostalgia served in smaller portions with a side of disappointment.
After years, I finally walked into McDonald’s, hoping to relive some good old burger memories. Stuck to what was familiar—ordered the Chicken Maharaja Meal and McSpicy Veg Meal. Turns out, nostalgia isn’t enough to save the experience. • Portion sizes? Shrinking faster than my excitement. • Price? Self-ordering machine said ₹800. Some post-checkout genie turned it into ₹950. Taxes? Hidden magic? Too hungry to care.
The Taste Test:
🍔 Chicken Maharaja – 2/5. Dry, underwhelming, and nowhere close to being “maharaja” of anything. McSpicy Veg – 3/5. The better of the two, but still just meh. Fries? Meh x2. Nothing new. Drinks: Ordered two. One was hot dark chocolate, which I mistook for a cold drink. Imagine gulping that after a McSpicy—tasted like the Bournvita my mom used to force-feed me. Skip. The other was a cold vanilla frappe—at least that one didn’t betray me.
At ₹950, you’re better off at Truffles for a freshly made burger instead of these reheated frozen ones. McDonald’s still has its name, but that’s about it. 2/5 for the visit, and that’s me...
Read moreI had an experience at McD where I used the self-service kiosk to order a meal and paid 587 via UPI. However, even though the amount was deducted immediately, the bill didn't generate. Upon approaching the manager, RAJU, we were assured that the refund would be processed within 3 days. The contact number given by a staff member, TANUJA, turned out to be invalid, and despite her assurance, the money was not refunded even after a week.
Her exact words were "such incidents happen to about one in ten customers and that it has occurred before"
It's disappointing to notice that this issue isn't isolated, as other customers have faced similar problems. While the introduction of self kiosks is a positive step, these recurring problems can certainly leave customers feeling frustrated and let down.
The fact that I haven't received the refund of 587 rupees strongly highlights the need for McD to address these issues promptly to ensure a better experience...
