DISAPPOINTING! The place stinks and looks very dirty and upsetting. Below average food is sold at such high prices here. Value for money is overwhelmingly low as a lunch for two shouldn't cost RS1000 at such a restaurant! (Or maybe they overcharge foreigners. Not quite sure) be careful of the "seasonal prices" because they may vary based on your appearance.😒 they have responded this is not true; they overcharge anyone; not just foreigners!
The reviews fooled us into wasting time and money on this joint, or maybe my taste is very different from other reviewers...
I would give them another star just because of their quick follow up which means they care about their business very much (not so much so for their customers, though, or else they would have deserved another star). However, I need to add "sassy management" to the downsides of the establishment as there is not a single word of apology regarding our dissatisfaction.
Assuming we were not overcharged-which is a discussion of its own, the food, specifically the fish with "seasonal prices", is absolutely not worth the price, and cleanliness is a...
Read moreIf you are missing some coastal food. This place will get you the right taste all the way from coastal. We went to this place for fish and prawns in specific. And we tried -
Prawns ghee roast, the masala taste is really good and the prawns was fresh. Just felt like we're in some manglore Udupi hotels.
Next we took Eshwana fish(Anjal) tawa rawa fry. The fry looked excellent. Sprinkled some lemon drops the fish was juicy and tasty.
Next came my favourite Pomfret fry. As usual it tasted good.
The we took chicken pepper. Which was average. I prefer to try other than this.
Soon after the starter we took Kori rotti, which comes with chicken sukha and is the best one to start with the mains. This is the DON'T MISS kind dish.
Chicken biryani was okish
Overall Namma kudla is great for its sea food.
Bikes can be parked infront of hotel but Car parking is a bit difficult at the hotel. But you can find some spots nearby,...
Read moreSo We had Been to this place for lunch. The Place Had a Good Ambience with the Old Style Decor Put up and it was Welcoming. We Then Jumped Right into the meal. We Ordered Neer Dosa, Prawn Ghee Roast, Crab Sukkha, Silverfish Rava Fry, Anjal Fish Tawa Fry,Prawn Biryani, Boiled Rice and Kokum Juice. Must say the Flavour of Each dish was Unique and very Fresh. The Fish, Crab and Prawn were all Very Fresh. The Must Tries are the Crab Ghee Roast, Silver Fish Rava Fry, Anjal Fish Tawa Fry and OG Combination of Boiled Rice with their Fish Curry. The only thing was that the Prawn Ghee Roast was Very Highly Priced for 6 Pieces it was 310. The taste was good but would suggest it for only trial once. Do call the place before you visit cause they open at 12pm and close at 3 45 pm. Overall the Food was a 4/5 The Service was a Little Slow cause the lack of serving Staff. I'd Rate the service a 3/5 And Over all I'd rate this...
