I recently visited Nandas in HSR Layout, and it turned out to be an excellent dining experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend. From the moment you step in, the calm and soothing ambience sets the tone for a relaxed meal. The interiors are well-kept, neat, and designed to make you feel comfortable, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or colleagues.
The highlight, of course, is the food. Every dish we tried was flavorful, freshly prepared, and served at the right temperature. The vegetarian options are outstanding, with the paneer dishes and South Indian thalis being especially memorable. The non-vegetarian selections are equally impressive – well-cooked, tender, and rich in authentic taste. What I really appreciated was the balance of spices: nothing felt too oily or overpowering, yet every bite was full of flavor. Portion sizes are generous, making it great value for money.
Equally commendable is the service. The staff is courteous, attentive, and quick to respond, ensuring that everything you need is taken care of without delay. It really enhances the overall dining experience when the team makes you feel welcome and looked after.
Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty family meal, a quiet dinner, or even a casual outing, Nandas in HSR is the perfect spot. With its delicious food, excellent service, and peaceful ambience, it truly stands out as one of the best dining destinations in the area. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreI am giving 1 star here just because I have to and there's no option to give a negative rating. This place located at a prime location, just besides ORR, is looting and cheating people in daylight in the name of providing food, which is all rotten and stale. The chicken we ordered was so rotten and bad that it had turned black inside and smelt horribly bad. Out of 4 pieces, not a single piece was at least eatable. Via Google, It's a sincere request to the food inspection team, to keep a check of this place very frequently and close it soon, if this continues. The worst part was the way management responded to our complaint. They came, listened and simply left without giving a damn(literally not a single word uttered), as if they are already aware that rotten chicken has been served, yet they don't bother. Hats off to their courage, they collected the full bill from us, even after seeing the food thrown away completely. My husband and I both had very bad vomiting after having their chicken Mughlai. People go to a restaurant for food sake, if the taste is not good, it is still accepted. But paying for stale and rotten food is never accepted at any cost. Please don't visit this restaurant, if you don't want to pay to invite food poisoning. This is the condition of dine-in, can't imagine a delivery order from...
Read moreOrdered Mutton Biryani Small, but they served chicken kushka(3-4 small chicken pieces were there) with mutton fry pieces.
Only 3 pieces of mutton were there and that too one with bone, i asked them why we have one bone piece with the price that i pay, they gave me additional two pieces of mutton fry with chest bone(this too don't have enough flesh.
Finally the bill came it said Mutton Biryani Large, due to language barrier with the order taking person he took the request of large biryani by default.
Now the question is first i asked him why you have mentioned it as large biryani, he said that i only said it just as mutton biryani so took large biryani by default. Later i asked why we had just 2 boneless and 1 bone piece? He said that small biryani will have 2 pieces and large will have 5 pieces.
Unanswered question is why he gave me only 3 pieces initially thought he mistakenly took order for large biryani which should actually have 5 pieces by default.
Finally he is still arguing that he served rice from mutton biryani, but still I'm not convinced with the chicken pieces that i found in said Mutton biryani.
Nandas, Kindly have a look into this issue and do the needful, so that the upcoming customers won't face...
