I recently visited Parika Coastal Village Bar & Kitchen and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for authentic coastal cuisine.

Firstly, the food was outstanding! The chefs at Parika have managed to strike a perfect balance of spices and other condiments in their dishes, making them not too spicy or too bland. Each dish has a unique flavour that leaves a lasting impression on your taste buds. I was particularly impressed with the Crab Soup, which was a perfect burst of flavours in the mouth. It was simply amazing!

Another must-try dish is the Chicken Urval, which is a red fiery dish made using ghee/coconut oil loaded with dry red chillies, curry leaves, cashew nuts and other spices. It is a Mangalorean delicacy mostly served as a starter. The dish was cooked to perfection and had the right amount of spiciness to it. It was truly a treat to my taste buds!

The staff at Parika were incredibly polite and hospitable. They made sure that our experience was a pleasant one from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Their warm and friendly approach added to the overall experience of dining at Parika.

Lastly, the interiors of Parika give a touch and feel of rural coastal Karnataka. The décor is rustic yet modern, and the attention to detail is evident in every corner of the restaurant. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

Overall, I had an exceptional experience at Parika Coastal Village Bar & Kitchen. The food was outstanding, the staff were polite and hospitable, and the interiors were charming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic coastal cuisine. It's a must-visit restaurant...

I was here with family for dinner. Let me get straight to the food. The Spicy Crab Soup had only egg white drop and no crab meat whatsoever. I showed it to the captain, he took away the bowl and agreed to change. In few minutes I get my soup back and abracadabra I see tiny traces of crab meat in my soup! Now this time the kitchen decides to go one step further - puts pieces of crab shells in my soup. Probably their way of showing that they have not forgotten to put crab meat in my crab soup. Who cares, even if this means I have to now inspect every spoon for shell pieces before sipping and eating, right? That experience btw is for 250+GST. I order lime soda, sweet & salt, but apparently my glass had forgotten to fizz. Again, I show it, they take it back and there comes my fizzy lime soda. Another magical experience, only for 119+GST. I order seer fish masala fry. For 590+GST it is fair to expect a single palm-sized slice. Instead, I get three small pieces that still don't add up in size. If those small pieces came from a small size seer fish then, really? did you fish them too early? Or, were you already out of stock in the very early hour of dinner time? Well, we did not bother to complain about this most expensive item in our order. We let common sense prevail and asked for the bill. No, wait, we did ask for the Ragi Manni desert. Fortunately, the waiter came back and said they didn't have it, so, bill...

Parika is located in a 5 minute drive place from agara lake. There's a lot of parking space for two wheeler and four wheeler in front of the restaurant itself so that's not a issue.. I was here for a lunch. I ordered all my meal right away nd sat down relaxed. The first thing to come was the mutton shorba. Shorba was quite good compared to other places with adequate masala in it. Next came all the starters one by one like prawns ghee roast, chicken uruwal, classic fish grill and chicken zaffrani, Shanghai potato, hara bara kebab, silver fish rawa, Lady fish masala fry. All the starters here were just delicious with perfect quantity as well as matching quality. The fish was cooked to perfection and it was absolutely wonderful. The veg starters were pretty decent and come one with these sea food i was overwhelmed. For mains, I had fish pulimunchi with neer dose. Fish pulimunchi was just perfect and I loved it with neer dose which be the best. And as a rule, you finish the coatal food with a ragi manni which was light with sugar and tasted amazing for me. Too much sugar is bad for taste as well 🤣 and this ragi manni was just perfect.. On the whole, parika is a compete package of coastal food which nothing disappointed me and it's totally worth the visit. Service - 4/5 Ambience -...

Parika is a coastal-themed restaurant on the 3rd floor of Twin Tulips hotel. It's decor reminds you of heritage homes, full of teak and rose wood interiors and panelling. There is a bridge connecting the main dining area to the secluded bar with hanging lamp shades and it's like a complete sophisticated vintage setting. Very nice indeed! The food is unique in the sense that you have all the North Indian favourites along with Mangalorean delicacies. We ordered multiple starters like Hara bhara kebab, crispy corn and paneer tikka. The Hara bhara was a tad bit spicy but the others were just right. The sweet corn and tomato shorba soups were fantastic. For mains we ordered Mangalorean specialities like Sannas, Pundi, Neer Dosa and Appams. With that we ordered veg stew, malai kofta and palak dal. The food tasted like home cooked food! Finger lickin delicious! The staff seemed like long term ones and they gave a personal touch to the entire ordering experience, also customising spice levels as requested. So polite and courteous! Overall, you can head to Parika for an unusual experience with the advantage of a bar (for that special toast) along with unique coastal dishes, superb taste and a warm home like service! Celebrations!

Visited this restaurant for lunch, the ambience, service and the staff are very polite and quick. However the taste of the food can be improved a little bit more. Ordered 1. Pomfret Masala Fry - costed 900 rupees and felt that it was very costly for the size of the fish. Also they had used byadgi chilli to get the red colour however could feel the red chilli raw when I tasted 2. Masala papad - RS 150 for 2 medium pieces of masala papad tasted good and was worth however felt it was too pricey 3. Neer Dosa - RS 120 for 5 small pieces of neer dosa however it was very fat and didn’t enjoy much 4. Egg ghee roast - RS 250 tasted Okaish however felt it was too pricey for the quantity provided 5. Sannas- RS 120 5 pieces please don’t order if you don’t like sweetish items. This is basically a sweet idly 6. Veg fried rice - RS 290 this absolutely tasted like ghee rice and wasn’t like fried rice and again very costly for the quantity provided 7. Anjal tawa fry - RS 610 very costly for the price again Overall a good restaurant with great service however the taste can be improved. They also have a live match screening going on.
