This Onesta restaurant is quite huge compared to other Onesta restaurants in the city which makes it a perfect place to hangout with large groups and to host small pizza events too.
I was here with my friend for dinner on their monthly Name based offer which gives you a discount of 50% on the total bill.
The ambience is quite open and since it is located on a covered terrace, if you get seated on the corner tables, you'll get a rooftop feel. They have decorated the edges of the restaurant with green plants and they have a huge kitchen on one side, a delivery section and a dessert counter on another side. The wooden furniture and rustic flooring gives a European Cafe look to the restaurant and they can use more wall arts to keep the place more lively.
The service was very professional. They allowed us to wait for almost 30 mins for other friends to join. They were very attentive and reached our table every time we thought of ordering. Pizzas were delivered to our table on time and when we had problems with our payment, they patiently waited to get it resolved. I really admire the quality of service.
We opted for an unlimited pizza (veg) option and we had plenty of pizza that night like Tangy Chat Pizza, Pineapple & Sweet Corn Pizza, Farm Fresh, Barbeque Paneer Pizza, Veggie Feast, etc. I felt the pizza was good but not great. The quality of toppings on some pizza needs to be improved (especially the pineapple), sauce was uneven on some pizza (like Barbeque Pizza) and the crust was baked uneven on some pizza. There is definitely room for improvement. But we did enjoy the rainy evening with their hot pizza.
Other than Pepsi & 7Up they didn't had any other drink option which was bit disappointing and their desserts were quite good.
Hygiene has been maintained well all over the restaurant. Tables were clean and the kitchen was also spotless. They accept all kinds of digital payments including cards, UPI, third party app dining app payments like Swiggy.
I recommend this restaurant for their unlimited pizza offers and as it serves as a great hangout...
Read moreAn OKAY visit. Would have given them a 3 star but added 1 for their honesty and courtesy. Fine ambiance. Moderately tasty. Good service.
Let's get into the details: Taste-wise: I won't say that it is a tongue-smacking experience. Quite a lot of varieties which is a good sign. Menu looks really good. Pizzas were good and authentic. Non-veg starters are a let down I believe. Tried "Green Chilli Roasted Chicken Bruschetta" which was way below par. There was no taste of green chilli at all and the toppings were very scarce. Usually burschettas toppings cover the entire bread area. Disappointed. Vegetable starters were much better. Tried french-fries, Jalapeno poppers. Well prepared and rightly crispy. Beverages are also moderately tasty. Virgin Mojito was good but Ice Cafe Mocha and Green Apple Cooler were okay. A lot of varieties in Deserts. Kit-kat mousse and Tiramisu were good. Rest just okay.
Ambiance-wise: It is a terrace restaurant which is covered. Well lit. Some corner parts have open windows. So, you can expect some fresh air. AC is there. Ample seating space. I would want the floor to be cleaner though. Yes. the floor gets dirty but it should be regularly cleaned too.
Service-wise: Quite courteous. When asked, I explained that we didn't like the food much and the items in particular. They didn't charge for it. Deserts were given for free to compensate I believe. This was something I liked particularly. Most would apologize and say that they will get better, but this restaurant went a step ahead and granted us to have the deserts for free, which was quite courteous. Thank you!
Cost-wise: Very expensive. This is a high-end Italian restaurant. So, it would be nothing less than Rs. 450 - Rs. 550 per person. Had the food been a little more delectable, I would still want to visit here more often. But now, I'm a bit skeptical.
Overall, an okay experience. When you visit a good renowned restaurant like Onesta, you at least want that the food tastes really...
Read moreNice place for pizza lovers. Great ambience, great music. The place has been designed to beat the heat with so many fans (no AC yet very comfortable) Cherry atop cake, they also serve good coffee. You have choice to customise your food. We started with an espresso and a cappuccino, a herbed mushroom bruschetta. We were surprised by a complementary bread and dip before our orders were served. Definitely appreciated, especially when we are famished (and we were). And came the coffee, surprised again with complimentary cookies. Bruschetta was good. The elaborate meal included chicken mayo wasabi pizza, tasty. When you are ordering pizza, make sure you check for the size. They mostly serve personal size pizza (4 pieces). Cucumber cooler is a great choice for people who aren't big fans of anything sweet. Saffron fudge is definitely a great try if you like the flavour of saffron infused badam and whipped cream. Finally, the tiramisu, definitely try. Overall experience has been amazing in onesta. Will definitely come again soon...🙂 And the series of surprises did not end there. Another complementary serving, dessert of the day. And I had to edit my post.
9 June 2018, we reached Onesta a little while after 9.30 pm, received by usual warm welcoming employees. We were done with our dinner by 10.30. unusual it is for restaurants to serve so quick at it's peak hours but Onesta does it! Hats off.
A tip to all visitors of Onesta. DO NOT TIP ANYONE IN ONESTA. EVEN IF YOU DO, THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT IT. AGAINST THEIR COMPANY POLICY.
We being absolutely unaware of this policy, left a tip to express my gratitude for their amazing service. We had walked out of restaurant and a service guy comes out running and giving us our money, explaining why they don't take it. We are really moved by his honesty. Quoting his words - RATE US ON ZOMATO AND OTHER APPS INSTEAD OF A TIP.
So guys, here it is! The tip...
