Visited Daysie for the first time, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! Located in RR Nagar, this is the second outlet of their MG Road branch, and though relatively new (around a year old), it already feels like a well-loved neighborhood gem.
The space is expansive with a huge seating area — both indoor and outdoor — offering a perfect vibe for every kind of diner. Inside, the seating is split into two decks: the lower for non-smokers and the upper for smokers. Loved the vibrant wallpapers, ambient lighting, and upbeat music — it’s a place with real character. The crowd was lively, the service was impressively quick, and valet parking made things even more convenient.
Now coming to the best part — the food and drinks:
What We Ordered:
Coorgi Paneer: This was a pleasant surprise! We expected something like Andhra chili paneer but were treated to a smoky, tangy South Indian twist that was moderately spicy and absolutely delicious.
Loaded Nachos: Perfectly done — homemade corn nachos with generous refried beans, guac, sour cream, salsa, and cheese in two full layers! Loved the effort they put into layering.
Nilgiri Roast Chicken: A unique dish with cashew masala, green chilies, and spices — rich, flavorful, and very different from the usual roast chicken options.
Drinks That Stood Out:
Asian Daydream: Vodka with lemongrass, yuzu lime, and lime juice — light and citrusy, a total refresher.
Afternoon Sun: This one hit hard — tequila with Sichuan peppercorn syrup and bell pepper juice — spicy, bold, and memorable.
Golden Hour: Probably the most unexpected — tequila with Gujarati choondo pickle! Oddly enough, it worked brilliantly.
Dance of the Peacock: A floral gin cocktail with butterfly pea tea and lavender. Light, smooth, and beautifully balanced.
Emerald Viper: Fruity with apple, pineapple, and basil — your everyday refreshing G&T, but better.
Lavender High: A dessert-like cocktail with vodka, lavender, coconut, and egg white — sweet, soft, and absolutely dreamy (even for someone not fond of egg white in drinks!).
The variety on the menu is great — from chaat to North Indian, Chinese, Italian, and more. It’s the kind of place you’d want to visit with a big group just so you can sample more. Whether you're a foodie, a cocktail lover, or just looking for a good time — Daysie checks...
Read moreDaysie just opened its door in RR Nagar, it is located just close to the RR Nagar arch. The place is beautiful from inside with sliding lights in the middle. The outlet is spread over 2 floors. What really set this place apart is its ambiance and music.
The launch party had couple of signature drinks and food items. For drinks we tried the Asian Daydream, Highway to Poona and the Morning Star. The Asian Daydream had subtle taste of Lime. The Highway to Poona was my favourite as it was made with figs. The Morning Star is made with lychee juice and raspberry syrup. It was delicious. The Banarasiya was a subtle drink made with Paan flavor and elaichi, loved it. The Hot Toddy wasnt very sweet but had a hint of cinnamon, ginger and orange, loved it.
We had the Veg Momos, Mushroom Ghee Roast, Lush Green Pizza and Veg Chipotle Tacos. The Veg Momos are served with red chutney and they were really good. The Mushroom Ghee Roast was my personal favourite. The flavours of the ghee had sipped deep inside the mushrooms. The Cheese Onion Rings were crisp and filled with cheese inside. A bit oily, but still loved the taste.
The Malai Broccoli is made with cheese, malai and cashew paste. The taste was amazing. The Corn salt and pepper, was made with capsicum, spring onions and green chillies. The taste was spicy and amazing. The Crisp Nadru, is made with sweet chilli sauce and was great in taste as well.
The Spaghetti Alio e olio was simply out of the world. It had chilli flakes, parmesan cheese and olive oil along with garlic. The Daysie veggie pizza was filled with corn, capsicum, zucchini and tomatoes. The flavors were spot on.
The Lush Green Pizza was made with green ingredients like spinach, capsicum, broccoli and so on. The crust was thin and the taste was delicious. Last the Veg Chipotle Tacos with hard shell. It was filled with cabbage, cheese and chipotle sauce. Liked it!
For desserts we had the Lotus Cheesecake and the Tres leches. The cheesecake was delicious and the Tres Leches was filled with rose, pista and almonds. Liked it a lot.

Read moreOverhyped. A max of 3 stars. Honestly, I had very high expectations during my visit. To start off, this is another "mandatory 10% service charge" place. The place is located right on the main road so it's very easy to locate. They have valet parking and an underground parking for two wheelers. Coming straight to the point, we got a table after a decent 15 mins wait which is fine. We got a table for ourselves on the ground floor and had to ask for water 5 times, no one seemed to care. We didn't like the seating as much so we asked if we could move upstairs if there's an empty table we can shift to, the staff checked and we moved upstairs. Now, this table barely has any setup for good air circulation, because the centralised AC can't seem to reach here and there's no fan or anything (mind you, this place isn't even thr extreme corner that it'd make it difficult for them to arrange something) due to which we were feeling v hot. After moving upstairs we had to ask for water 5 times, again and it turns out they had RUN OUT OF GLASSES?! This is literally my first time hearing this at a restaurant that they've run out of glasses to serve water. They gave us CUPS to drink water in. We ordered our food, and they forgot to serve us one of the dishes we ordered and when we asked about it, they told they ran out of stock??!!! They didn't even bother letting us know about it until we enquired. Coming to the food, the quantity of fries is VERY less and taste is average with barely any crisp. The honey chilli potato was good. The Daysie Veggie Pizza is pretty good but the Lush Green Pizza was average. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio is quite good but excess oil (this was mentioned to us) and the Arrabbiata pasta was good too. The shakahari kebab platter was very bland, almost tasteless. The vibe of the place was good since it has live DJ who plays absolutely banger songs which kept us sane throughout thr mishaps we had to deal with here. The staff is very passive aggressive expect for 1-2 guys.
So overall, a very average experience, I had honestly expected...
