A Hidden Gem of Rajasthani Flavors – Kota Kachori is a Must-Visit!
I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Kota Kachori this weekend, and I must say, it was an experience worth writing home about! If you’re a fan of authentic Rajasthani cuisine or simply someone who appreciates rich flavors, incredible hygiene, and heartfelt hospitality, this place is a dream come true.
From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the warm aroma of freshly fried kachoris and a spotless, inviting environment that immediately set the tone for a great dining experience. The place is immaculately clean, which instantly gives you confidence about the quality and care that goes into every dish.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because that’s where Kota Kachori truly shines.
I started with their signature Kota Kachori, and oh boy, it was a burst of flavor in every bite. Crispy on the outside, beautifully spiced on the inside—this dish alone made the trip worthwhile. Then came the legendary Aloo Pyaz Kachori, a spicy and hearty snack that instantly transported me to the bustling streets of Rajasthan.
To balance the savory with something sweet, I tried the Lachcha Rabidi and Rasmalai—both divine. The rabidi was thick, creamy, and not overly sweet, just the way it should be. The rasmalai was so soft and rich in saffron and cardamom flavor, it simply melted in my mouth.
What truly sets Kota Kachori apart is their commitment to authentic taste and high standards of hygiene. Every dish is made fresh, and the staff is polite, helpful, and efficient. The menu also offers a wide variety of Rajasthani treats, so there’s something for every palate.
It’s rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes—taste, hygiene, service, and atmosphere—but Kota Kachori does just that, and more. I’m already planning my next visit and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone craving soul-satisfying Indian street food with a Rajasthani twist.

Read moreKota kachori is essentially a North Indian snacks joint . Most of the food items here are from Rajasthani cuisine . Their menu is structured into six categories - snacks, mini meals, desserts, chaat, Thali, and Beverages. They have a small sitting area in the first floor and also some tables to stand and eat in the ground floor.
I went to this place to have dinner. Most of their speciality items were out of stock. It was their closing time. I ordered special Kota kachori, Dahi Vada, paneer paratha, chola bhatura, Ghewar, gulab jamun and jalebi. Some of the items were made a couple of hours back , like the Kota Kachori, but they tasted very good . Paneer paratha and bhatura was freshly made . The winner was unanimously the Kota kachori .
The sitting area is very small and doesn’t have a washroom . It has a small handwash place which didn’t have water to wash hands. This is a self service restaurant, so if you order in the ground floor then you have to carry the food to first floor through the narrow staircase.
There is no dedicated parking at this place . You can park your vehicle at the BDA complex parking area which is right opposite...

We considered it as it sounded genuine and then asked for malai ghevar 4 pc parcel saying fresh dena bhaiya and they said yes sir fresh hai . Later at home we tasted it and it was sour and there was foul smel . Wow !! But then we were at home so helpless. After few days again we reached here thinking roj khrab thode denge And ordered special thali chole bhature and pav bhaji . And yes sabudana khichadi too . Apart from sabudana khichadi there was nothing as such to eat and relish . Pav was burnt , puri was burnt , sabji was full of spices , bhaji was too salty to bear . Bhatura was not puffed later we asked dusra do bhai then then to our surprise they gave another bhatura which was puffed. We actually keep high hope from kota kachori but today me and my family we are super disappointed and take oath not to visit that...
