Paris Panini the brand that experimented with a food truck, several pop-ups is now a successful sit down restaurant serving the best in class french street food in namma Bengaluru for over 2+ years . The newest outlet in Whitefield celebrates french street style panini's with various meat and vegetarian options. The drink options are limited, but plenty to keep your thirst cravings at bay with classic flavoured iced teas, hot and cold coffee, and some delicious shakes and desserts to indulge.
On a recent lunch craving I ended up here, looking for some fabulous panini's and I love the fact that there is a choice between classic and multigrain bread and half and full panini's so that you can choose to try multiple panini's without feeling too full. That is exactly what I ordered, with Victor, Jean and Arthur, the meaty array of flavour loaded toasted gourmet french paninis.
After sipping down with pastis, a cold drink with an infusion of star anise and licorice, usually in high spirits, yet the non-alcoholic version here in Paris Panini, called the Le 51 was a much needed refresher for a warm bengaluru afternoon.
I had friends to share, and hence decided to indulge a little more than just panini's and started off with bacon loaded fries that were simply fabulous. Beautifully crispy bacon with that signature mild smoky flavour on cheesy fries is something that I thoroughly enjoyed and it was something that got over even before our panini's arrived.
While the Panini's came cut into two, we decided to share, hence ordered four paninis, that were Victor, Jean, Arthur and Hugo.
Let us start with the humble Hugo, which was a panini with a fried chicken center, fresh mozzarella, with some house made sun-dried tomatoes, a bit of lettuce, and a smear of basil aioli. It was definitely a flavour bomb that hits you mildly.
My second bite was from Victor, a beautifully flavoured lamb mince, that was more crumbled than minced, with fresh red paprika, some onions, jalapenos on a bed of garlic aioli. The lamb was simply superb, it was full of flavour from the lamb and a meal I would absolutely recommend as a must have #apjprecommends
Kept the pork options for the last and both Jean and Arthur were brothers from different mothers. Jean was more of bacon, with a fresh feta cheese crumble, a little bit of fried onion on a bed of lettuce smeared with sriracha aioli. A perfect package for bacon lovers and converts, like me. The flavours in my mouth was something that cannot be explained, but experienced.
While Arthur impressed me even more with the roast pepper pork sausage (maybe!!) with a dose of jalapeno, a feta cheese crumble with sliced onions and mustard aioli. It was a delight to enjoy and indulge.
Both the pork options were a luxurious amalgamation of flavours on my palate that were just perfect for someone who is looking for options in Pork.
I must mention the panini bread, it was a perfect platform for the loaded meaty options on offer, baked to perfection and beautifully toasted, it definitely deserves to be celebrated.
After stuffing ourselves with delicious and meaty paninis, we wanted to end our meal on a sweet note, with a slice of decadent tiramisu and a salted caramel & biscuit crepes.
Hands down, the best Tiramisu in town, superbly rich, beautifully layered goodness, and a scoop of mocha ice cream on the side to elevate the whole experience, simply beautiful.
The Crepes were deliciously well made with a fantastic crunch from the biscuit on the soft carries, loved it, though would pic the tiramisu any day.
I promised to visit, again just to try out the Lamb and the Pork options, because I truly believe the quality of meat and the flavour offered here in Paris Panini is one of a kind and is something that I have not experienced here in namma Bengaluru #apjprecommends highly, it is a must visit...
Read moreI recently visited their Miraya Rose branch at Whitefield, and was very impressed with the variations in their menu, the food, the portion size as well as the ambience (which is highlighted by the 3 colours of the French flag, and paintings of the streets of Paris). They serve a lot of other foods apart from the paninis and have a wide range of beverages & desserts as well. Their paninis are all made with freshly baked breads, made the same morning - you have the option for regular bread or multigrain. They have a wide variety of vegetarian as well as non vegetarian paninis. Their dips (garlic aioli, sriracha aioli, basil garlic aioli, mustard, ketchup) are also all made in-house ensuring quality & freshness.
I tried the following: ☑️ Le 51 : A special in-house cold & refreshing drink made with star anise & liquorice, reminding you of a non-alcoholic version of “pastis” ,a famous drink served in south of France. ☑️ Onion Rings : Crunchy onion rings coated with panko crumbs and served with an aioli dip. ☑️ Bacon on fries : French fries generously loaded with crispy bacon, onion rings and served with an amazing cheese sauce.
