"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rumi - Spirit of Awadh in Bangalore, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I stepped in, I was struck by the beautiful ambiance. The decor is elegant and sophisticated, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion or a night out with friends.
But what truly stole the show was the food! I ordered the Panchratna Aloo, and oh my god, it was love at first bite! The flavors were rich and complex, with each bite a perfect balance of spices and textures.
And the Malaiyo? Absolutely divine! The Malaiyo was creamy, rich, and utterly delicious and perfect blend of flavors and textures. It was a masterclass in dessert-making!
The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to make recommendations.
Overall, I would highly recommend Rumi - Spirit of Awadh to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The food, ambiance, and service all come together to create a truly unforgettable evening. Can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes!

The food was a total disappointment. I will say the perfumes & atars they sell are much better than the food. We ordered Chicken Changezi (which was highly recommended by them), Chicken Anari tikka, Galauti Kebab, Rumali roti and Khamiri Roti. Chicken Changezi gravy was undercooked, the chicken had a slight foul smell. Rumali roti was as it should be. Chicken Anari tikka was super bland, no aromas no flavors coming from it, only thing I can say it was edible. The Khamiri Roti was definitely not a Khamiri roti, it was more like a bad Kulcha and the Khamir (fermentation) was missing from the dough. Galauti Kabab was fine, it tasted like a it, however texture was not as it should be, still I would rate the Galauti Kabab as 3.5/5. I am not sure why the overall food experience was so bad, may be the restaurant was having a bad day! Awadhi / Lucknow food is my soul food and we were so excited about trying their food, it was a sad & disappointing...
