I used to be a regular customer of this restaurant, but recently this restaurant is deteriorating very fast in all aspects.
Food quality is utterly bad, very low quality rice is used, not maintaining the authenticity of the dish, they would either overcook or undercook the dishes.
In one of my recent visit, I had ordered my fav starter “Do phool Do swad” a tandoor starter with a combination of broccoli and cauliflower. But this time this dish was really horrible, they served raw broccoli and cauliflower dipped in hot water and then coated with bland uncooked yogurt. When I complained to tye service manager about this, his answer was really shocking, at first he argued that that’s how the dish was supposed to be, but when I mentioned that I am a returning customer and i know the taste of this dish very well, he said that the cook has changed the recipe. Today’s dish is prepared as the new recipe. The response was really terrible and the tone was full of arrogance.
The other starters also were not tasty, the fried rice was way too dry prepared with bad quality rice. It did not had any veggies, he cooked have called it steamed rice instead of fried rice. But this time I didn’t dare to question the quality as I was still digesting the answer provided for the quality of the starter!!!!
Service is also too slow, staff lack professionalism, even the uniforms looked shabby. Place is also not maintained well and poor lighting which doesn’t complement with the walls.
Really sad to see a pure veg fine dining place declining so badly.
I don’t want get abused by your staff after paying hefty money for uncooked food. It’s real embarrassment in front of the family when I promised a fine dining experience but ended up having worst dining experience.
Will never return to...
Read moreI visited this place 3 years ago and had a great time—lovely food, warm service, and happy memories. So naturally, I walked in recently with high hopes... only to be gently brought back down to Earth.
Let’s start with the basics: water. I didn’t get any—not the regular kind, not the fancy bottled one. They didn’t even ask. I felt like I was at a dry run of a restaurant.
We ordered the Saffron All Veg Platter, expecting a colorful carnival of flavors. What arrived felt more like a dress rehearsal—some items were half-cooked, others still figuring out whether they belonged on a grill or in a salad. For the price, I hoped for a little more finished performance.
Now for the good part: Broccoli Almond Soup was lovely! Smooth, warm, and actually comforting. It was the highlight of the meal. The Veg Biryani was... well, present. Nothing to write home about, but not offensive either. Then came the Hot Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream. The brownie was so hot it probably had travel plans to the sun. Sadly, the taste leaned more toward “charcoal adventure” than “chocolate indulgence.”
The final touch? Only one finger bowl for two people. Maybe it's a new minimalist trend, or a subtle way to promote bonding?
Look, I know these sound like small things—but when they all show up at the same meal, it adds up. I really wanted to relive the great experience I once had, but this visit missed the mark.
No hard feelings—just a soft suggestion to revisit the basics. Hospitality starts with water, ends with warmth, and throws in a well-cooked brownie...
Read moreWe have visited this restaurant a couple of times before and this time we went for dinner. While placing order we had made a request to prepare everything less spicy as we had kids. We had ordered masala papad, lemon grass soup, crispy babycorn, fingerchips, exotic veg sizzler, paneer butter masala and butter rotis. The crispy babycorn was so spicy that leave the kids, we adults only couldn't have it. We had to request for curd and sugar to cut out the spiciness. The exotic veg sizzler was inedible It was burnt and we couldn't eat it at all. This was full waste. The finger chips and butter rotis were the only items we could eat.
Even the paneer butter masala had a weird taste. It was full of elaichi.
We even raised our concerns with the manager. To my shock, the manager instead of being apologetic, blamed us to have unrealistic demands. He clearly stated that they cannot make certain items less spicy. This he could have clarified at the time of placing the order itself. Regarding the sizzler being burnt he is explaining me how sizzler is prepared and finally admitted that maybe the plate was too hot and was giving lame excuses. In other restaurants we would have got atleast some compensation.
Even the service is horrible We have to keep calling the waiter for water refill or orders. I don't know why you even have service charge!!
Pathetic experience and horrible manager!!
Please note: Our bill was Rs 1800 something, but the only edible items were worth 300 Rs.
We have decided to never ever visit this...
