Cold Food, Cockroaches, Rude Management & Illegal Service Charges

This place has become a total "Kachda Tamarind Hotel"!

The food was served cold, stale, and absolutely tasteless. Honestly, roadside food stalls serve better, fresher, and more hygienic food than this so-called fine dining place.

To make matters worse, cockroaches were crawling on our table and on the floor nearby. Basic cleanliness is missing here.

The management showed no courtesy, no apology, and had a rude attitude when we pointed out the issue.

On top of that, they added a 5% service charge to the bill without any prior information.

Professionally, I am a lawyer, and I’m fully aware of my rights as a consumer. As per Indian Government guidelines, service charge is voluntary and customers have the full right to refuse it.

If any restaurant refuses to remove it, consumers can legally file a complaint under the following acts:

Consumer Protection Act, 2019 – to protect consumers from unfair trade practices.

Indian Contract Act, 1872 – to address unfair billing practices.
