Samrat Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Bengaluru

An excellent cosy and great eat out place at CBI road. People are really good and friendly and caring. Food spread is mostly manglorean delicacies. Would highly recommend for lunch and dinner. Its open from i guess 12 pm till 12 am. They serve alcohol also so may be the families who want to take kids may avoid this place. Whereas I do takeaway a lot.

The dishes I die for and worth a try are: mutton ghee roast, prawn ghee roast, tawa fry of bangra fish/anjal fish and some other fish names I can't recall. You will also find rawa fry of these fishes. I love bangra rawa fry and anjal tawa fry....It's the best you can ever have. They also have delicious manglorean fish gravy, chicken and mutton curries. It's all in all a small cozy and great wat out place and a must try. I have kind of taken almost all of my friends, colleagues, family to this place and I never miss to recommend this place.

Do try this place, I am sure you are gonna become a regular...

I'm here on a Saturday evening, and service is quite prompt.

The food is a bit on the oily side and can get quite spicy, so consider yourself warned.

Seating and lighting are adequate.

The restroom could do with a separate urinal and the addition of a western commode.

All in all, it's a decent bar for the price, and I will update my review if/when I come back to Ganganagar and try...

It's a bar and restaurant and there's absolutely no parking available which might result in your vehicle being towed if parked on the road. Nevertheless food is quite good but ambience is not...
