Savoury Express Counter — Restaurant in Bengaluru

We were initially excited as we saw the place was completely full & there was a waiting of 3 (we were the fourth). Our number came after 8 other people waiting in the list after we realized that he Manager wrote my name as Anushka instead of Ashish :P & we also didn't catch it as there were a lot of girls/ladies around us so we thought it would be someone else.

The restaurant main board & the top of the menu it says the place serves Arabian Cuisine but it was not getting served is what we got to know on enquiring with the waiter for the same. "No veg Arabian dishes saar" was his version. The place serves North Indian, Chinese & Italian food as well it says on the Menu. We ordered Manchow Soup only to realize that it would come with a big mosquito in it. From that point onwards our experience went worse to worst. The manager seem to have found it usual & telling his waiter staff to inform Chef that "as per customer" the mosquito was already in the soup when it was served. I was almost about to burst when he assured to serve us another one. To our surprise our starter Sifiyana Paneer Tikka landed which was like raw paneer pieces & cold. The main course followed immediately. When we asked about the soup, the waiter informed us that it is cancelled. The was having cold & running nose so thought soup would be my savour. We have to ask for every single thing needed as sides along with food which was extremely frustrating.

The staff was running all over the place like headless chickens but even after 3-4 calls, no one was willing to entertain us. My wife for the first time in her life busted on the staff if someone is willing to take further order. But by than, they losted it & had it from us. I asked for the bill & we left the place red faced. This is one of the worst experience we ever had. I would not recommend this place & will not go...

Had worst experienc tonight with Savoury Sarjapur Road. Had orderd 2 Curries (Take Away) which costed us Rs 420 (Rs.210 for each) to our surprise when having our food we found only 2 small bit of chicken in each curry. How should I calculate now 75rs for each bit piece of chicken??. When I called up Manager he is in surprise. He doesn't know what is happening in his store. Imagine the amount of profit these people are making with these cheating in takeaway orders.

Savoury it's our hard earned money. We work for it and you are not giving us food for free. At least justify the price that we are paying.

Now coming to taste of curry - One word "Worst" the cook had made it for someone's sake. Not cooked properly..

Savoury is more expensive that Empire Restaurants at least empire is now trying in foreign market. Being expensive but cheap food and tricks to fool people.

I did not have less that 1 star.

I would never recommend savoury to my friends, family or my colleagues. At least not...

i had a really bad experience here. i have never experienced this rude behaviour 4m a restaraunt, till date. me n my wife went there by about 10.30pm, 22/11/2016. we were searching for empty seats... there were few empty 4 seats tables n 2 seats tables available. as there was no much rush, we wanted to take a 4 seats table. the person looked as the in charge came up telling us we cant take that seat... inspite of lot other ppl who were sitting alone in a 4 seated table. he was not concerned about that... bt very rudely he pointed to us a 2 seated table which is very close to the road side. since it was late n we were very hungry, we just ordered the food, had, n left. the rolls r good, bt biriyani s nt great. we often visit this place, as it was comparitively cheaper. bt nw, they have raised their prices too... and this new experience added to the hatred n now we hav to rethink abt...
