What a gem of a place! I visited Jeev cafe and was blown away by the incredible South Indian food. The Masala Dosa was authentic with so many accompaniments and packed with flavor, the Veg Oothappam was perfectly spiced and loaded with veggies, and the Vadas? Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside — absolute perfection!
But here’s what really won me over: the owner explained how they use cold-pressed oils and pure, high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference — it’s clean, wholesome, and still bursting with authentic flavor. Knowing that they care about what goes into their food just made the whole experience even better.
I finished the breakfast with a fresh coconut juice and lime juice!!
On top of that, the vibe of the place is just right, we were a group of five and we had a great time— relaxed, friendly, and a great spot to chill with friends or grab a solo bite. I’ve already decided — this is going to be my new go-to spot for guilt-free indulgence. Highly recommend!
The place is right on the Sarjapur Road, easy to find using...

Update -
The first experience was good. However everything post that has been really really below par. So much so that, I’ve decided to never visit again.
I have the following reasons - most menu items are not available. you wait for 10 minutes to get the menu ( because the staff is really clueless maybe they are overworked or something). Then you take 10 minutes to order only to realize nothing is available. They said “batter is not available :)” orders were confused with orders of other tables. bill was also messed up. They added incorrect items there were multiple other people who faced the same issue because we could see people leaving without ordering, returning food because only some items were made and rest were not.
My personal take is the staff needs a “lot” ( and I mean a “lot” ) of training. I’m not sure of the owner but this place is not managed well. It ended up ruining our weekend because we had planned our day...

Food: We went for breakfast and tried multiple South Indian items. Rice in pongal was uncooked, Idli was cold and became rubbery within minutes, Kesari bath felt stale and was served cold. It was half burnt as well. Veg uttappam was sour!
They clearly don’t know anything about south indian food at all. I highly suggest them to first try these items in any of south indian restaurants first in BLR to understand how they should taste!
Service: It was extremely slow. Any other restaurants in BLR would have served 100+ customers in that time. When asked, they say they prepare everything fresh that’s why its slow. But all items they served were actually cold!
They were not even friendly. One of the person came to take feedback and was not accepting the feedback at all.
Atleast South Indian items were indelible. Not sure about north...
