Srinidhi Veg Food Court — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Arrogant staff who have the audacity to tell even regular customers to "get lost". Seems like the management doesn't care. Probably are making too much money & have no respect for their patrons. Read my entire experience below...

On 10.05.23 afternoon we visited Srinidhi food court. We ordered 2 mango milkshakes & when I handed over the coupons at the juice counter, I clearly told the server (Praveen) to not add sugar or ice to the milkshakes. When I received the order, both the milkshakes were very sweet as well as topped with honey. When I went back & asked him about the added sugar he lied to me that I had never informed him about it. I was absolutely shocked because I had made sure he heard my instructions clearly. Yet he vehemently denied it, Gaslighting me. There was another server who seemed to gesture something to this guy I was speaking to, but I didn't understand what it was. However, When I didn't back down the server (Praveen) said he'll replace the milkshake. He was supposed to replace both of them but we agreed to have only one of them replaced as we didn't want to burden the staff even though it was their fault.

In the meantime my brother ordered another mango milkshake & asked it to also be without sugar or ice. We had decided that he'll have the milkshake with sugar (which was already served) & my mom & I will have the no sugar milkshakes which were yet to be served. We waited for the replacement milkshake & the new order for more than 20 mins. I even checked if they were ready twice. But they didn't seem to be preparing our order. When my brother went and asked them they rudely sent him away by telling him it's not ready yet. When my mother went & asked for the order he arrogantly said that he's added sugar to it again. My mom was shocked & my brother yet again confirmed that he had informed this one to also be served without sugar. Then he changed his statement & said it's not your order, continue to wait. They were playing with us by making us wait just because we pointed out their mistake. This infuriated my mother & she questioned the server & told him that we pay for the food & we are not being served for free.

The server raised his voice against my mother & started arguing with her aggressively. His demeanor was such that he was willing to even physically assault us. We went to the cashier & complained about this & also told him that we weren't served the last milkshake we had fully paid for. The cashier kept calling out to the server to come to the cash counter & resolve the issue. But that man refused multiple times because he knew he was guilty. However, when we insisted that server (Praveen) came along with the other server & both of them argued. The other server (man with glasses) had no business here, yet he came to defend his colleague. He had the audacity to tell us that he will not serve the milkshake & that we should "get lost". This is what makes me absolutely furious. How dare does one speak like this to a regular customer...especially when it has nothing to do with him.

We pointed their arrogance to the cashier, took our money & left. Most certainly will never return to that place. But I'll make sure I tell everyone of my acquainteces to stay away from this place & leave this review in as many places as possible to spread the word. This behavior is downright unacceptable, but I don't think the management cares. Because this is not the first time we've put up with such rude behavior. In all their arrogance they forget that they are earning their bread & butter because we pay them.

Honestly, the food is substandard with excess oil & sugar. Yet, we would visit occasionally due to the ease of access. I'd also order on swiggy if I needed anything quickly. They're definitely losing business from our side. Will be moving on to other places like MTR &...

New one, started in mid-September 2016 on Kalyan Nagar 80 feet Road. The eatery looks attractive on the front side, with pretty but simple lighting inside on the roof. Quite big in area, so getting a free table is convenient, unlike Sukh Sagar nearby, which has virtually no seating in the cramped place. Just two weeks old, it's already very crowded by the local people, local families.... Taste is not awesome, but better than good enough. I really like to rate it 4.5 stars, but will review this in another month, and see if upgrading or downgrading is required.

As of now, it's very neat, cooking area is clean, have good chefs, has a good parcel section, has fruit juice and dessert section, separate coffee/tea area, with ok-ok taste.... Planning of the entire set-up is quite nice.

When the restaurant is being cleaned, be very careful at the entrance area and other places near the toilet and washroom area, where it can get very slippery.

They only have self-service, which means you can't have the privilege of shouting out , "WAITER.."! Tables and chairs are next to ordinary, of simple Darshini-type eatery. Basic bike parking space is available. The roads in the front side have almost zero four-wheeler parking during peak hours.

Beware that all items mentioned in the menu are not available at all times. Example, there is no poori/sagu in the evenings. It's good in the morning- soft and fluffy. Dosa tastes excellent, but sambar is mediocre. Chutney is way too spicy, you'll know it when you visit the loo. Mini coffee is 10 bucks- yummy! Juice is reasonably priced, but not classic in taste. Overall, a great start for experimentation. All the best. This should be doing great in a few months' time.

Very pathetic food, we ordered for Gobi manchurian, babycorn manchurian, idly, vada, veg fried rice, kesari bath, pav bhaji for dinner. Phav bhaji had mud in it.Eating the food has caused food poisoning for the entire family. Just because it is getting good rating from few people, it doesn't mean the food quality is good. It is over priced and the manchurian tasted so bad, that people had vomiting and stomach upset at midnight. I have left feedback many times in swiggy, that they send spoilt chutney and dishes for online orders specially for dinner orders. I am writing it here in the public forum so that people are aware of this and act wisely. No response from the restaurant inspite of giving bad feedback. They are only bothered about their money and not giving good quality food to customers. To the restaurant, you're not the only vegetarian restaurant in this area, lot of competitors are there. Just because it's close by for people who stay in kalyan nagar locality, we order food. Never repeat sending spoilt good to customers. Not only people who visit restaurant are your customers, people who order online ,whom you don't see are also your customers . Your quality of food has...
