Worst experience at Swad. The owner shamelessly overcharged us ₹450 for just 4 rotis, 1 sabzi, and plain white rice. When we questioned, his behavior was arrogant and extremely rude. Felt completely cheated. This place is a total rip-off — avoid at all costs.
Hello, Your response proves exactly what I wrote arrogance, excuses, and zero accountability. You shamelessly charged ₹450 for 4 rotis, 1 sabzi, and plain rice, and to make it worse, you didn’t even provide a bill. On top of that, you’re inventing stories about “urgency” and “language debate” to cover up your unethical practices.
This is nothing but cheating under the disguise of authenticity. Customers don’t care how many years you’ve been in business if all you offer is overpricing, rudeness, and disrespect. Longevity means nothing when you treat people like this.
If you truly believe this is acceptable pricing and behavior, then it’s clear your restaurant survives not on quality, but on fleecing unsuspecting customers.
Warning to future customers: Think twice before stepping into this place unless you want to be overcharged, denied a bill, disrespected, and insulted.
Shame on you for calling this...
Read moreJust discovered this gem of a restaurant yesterday. Decided to do a takeaway of some of their preparations with 5 of my friends for dinner. And my goodness the food just impressed us so much that I'm just waiting to order it in again for lunch. The Junglee Maas is the star of the lot. Supreme in flavours and the mutton cooked perfectly makes this an absolute delight. Then comes in the Malai Chicken, soft juicy chicken in that rich and creamy Malai based gravy makes this dish perfect. The soft phulkas slathered in desi ghee makes it the prefect medium to consume the above dishes with. I suggested this place to the other 4 of my friends after watching the episode on Food Lovers TV and I should say each of them were highly impressed with the food. A big thank you to Kripal Amanna for discovering this gem in my neighbourhood and also a BIG BIG Thank You to the warm and hospitable family that runs the tiny eatery for such great food and...
Read moreI had been there yesterday after watching a review by Kripal Amanna. Needless to say, his review was spot on ! You get food that is home cooked, nutritious, tasty and cooked with love. I had ordered a few of their vegetarian dishes- soya curry, bhindi curry, a few phulkas and jeera rice. Ther curry's were super tasty, and light on the stomach. The jeera rice was a little dry; a little ghee added to it would have made a difference, but this is not a complain. The family eat what they cook for their customers, so there's no extra masala/soda added to any of their dishes. They are very welcoming and warm. Place an order well in advance, at least 2 hours before. Their portions, at least their veg main courses, could be a little less, so order more. I will definitely order from there again, and this time I will try their kheer :) thank you for cooking such a lovely meal for me...
