Ambience- This is the only good thing about this place. Good seating arrangement. The layout of the restaurant is good. Food -
The Butter Masala Dosa was very bad, especially the butter used was tasting bad. Could eat only half of it.
The Batura Chole - The Batura was big and nice, However, it was just with Chole and few raw onion and cucumber slices. No pickel, no fried chillies. The chole was very blunt , no spice , no salt. So overall below average food.
Service - This was the Total Disaster. The cash counter person was unfriendly and took no interest in customers. The service counter guys were average. The disaster happened when while eating I went to get some glass of water and immediately a waiter came and cleaned the food/table.. I could not even finish the food. When i asked him, his response was arrogant too, rather than apologetic of the mistake.
Pricing - Moderate pricing, but not worth the value of food.
Overall a bad experience from food to service. Won't visit...
Read moreVisited Roti satkar that was newly opened in the area. The ambience is great. The wall mural painting depicting their restaurant name is lovely. Neatly dressed staff and what i really liked is they even had women chefs there unlike other places where it's only men. Ordered veg Paratha, rava dosa and masal Puri. The chat was really good followed by Paratha and rava dosa. They have a range of items like holige, millet bisi bele bath, dosa items, even Chinese and Italian food like pasta. They have range of ice creams and drinks. The staff is neatly dressed. There was a lot of crowd and no place to sit. We managed to get some place to sit. They cook here in RO water so it's very clean and safe to have Pani Puri as well. *They don't add artificial colors. They make chutney without onion garlic. *They don't add ajino motto or eno for soda. *They cook without adding soda. Overall it's a very healthy food that you can expect. I will definitely visit again.
Suggestion : To make enough place to keep plates and eat even if we have to...
