Tenzin Kitchen is a very small and cozy place situated near the Forum Mall in Koramangala. It offers Tibetian food which is genuine and also lip smacking. We have been here several times VEG MANCHOW SOUP: Classic veg manchow soup, topped with crispy noodles, simple and just the thing you need for the cold Bengaluru weathers.
HONEY CHILLI POTATO: We loved the crispiness of this, the combination of sweet & sour with a tinge of spicy has always been something we love. Well made and made for a very good starter.
MOMO THUKPA: This was basically a momo soup. Incredibly flavouring and the momo somehow managed to taste absolutely delicious even after being soaked in the soup.
EMADATSEY: This is the ultimate spicy dish. If you fancy spicy food there is no doubt you order this. They have a few options, we opted for the vegetable one. The base is the same for all dishes, just different toppings.
CHICKEN SHAPTAK: This tasted a lot like your usual hunan chicken you have in Chinese restaurants. This goes well with rice or noodles.
TINGMO: A Tibetan speciality bun. A very interesting sweet bun, not overly sweet, breaks of easily and though very simple taste absolutely divine, you could pair this with a lot of their dishes here, we recommend dipping this with the emadatsey to get a good mix of sweet and spicy.
Now as talked about above, treat this place as a visit to the homes of Tibet, where you are offered a wide array of both authentic Tibetan cuisine and Chinese. You will love your time here, as you will have nothing to criticize about and enjoy the lip smacking pocket friendly food here. What’s more amazing about this place is the smile the waiters have on their face, giving out this vibe which says “we are so glad to have you come to our home”. That’s enough of our opinion about the place, we would love to hear about yours In the...
Read moreGreat Tibetian food with very affordable rates. One of the good options to start trying out Tibetian food in Bangalore around Koramangala.
Thukpa is a kind of noodle soup popular in Tibet. Thukpa was on point along with the Thenthuk and the Mothuk which is Thukpa with momos in it. Thukpa is usually milder but you can ask for it to be made spicier. Since you have a lot of soup, always ask for tingmo which is this spiral bread which you can dip in the soup and eat. This combination is absolutely phenomenal. Thenthuk is a similar to thukpa but the noodles are wider. They have some Bhutanese options as well which was a surprise to me. The Shakamdatsey is what I tried here. My friends finished it before I could take a picture 😂 Its spicy and cheesy and has fried chicken and onions. Really tasty.
The starters are great too. I asked for spicy Laphing and the taste was incredible. Shabaley is like fried momos and they were so juicy and tasty! Shaptak is the thing I liked the most here, its a spicy chicken Tibetian starter. It goes very well with the milder thukpa flavours. One of my friends got Chinese chicken wings and those were really good as well.
If you are just starting out with exploring Tibetian food, I recommend the Thukpa or Thenthuk along with Tingmo. Some Laphing and Shaptak as sides will help too. Ask for Thukpa/Thenthuk/Laphing to be spicy if you want more punch in the flavours.
Parking is not available. But you can park nearby in Forum mall. For 2 wheelers I suggest parking near Jyothi Nivas College and taking a short walk because there is designated free parking. The waitress and I had a bit of a communication problem but we got it sorted with a bit of trouble. I kind of liked her to be honest 😂 Great...

I am posting this review after visiting this place multiple times. I really wanted to test the consistency in impressing me, and they amaze me Always!!!!
Starting with the parking, it's upto you. They don't have a parking spot, so park responsibly. Mostly there will be a waiting period, because they don't have a very big dining area. There is no pre -booking. They have First-Come-First-Serve Policy. The menu is very big. They have veg- nonveg options. Non veg has chicken, beef and pork options. They have exclusive Tibetan cuisines in their menu at affordable rates and do try them out. The food is served hot and it's always good in quality and Quantity. The taste is also very good. The steamed and fried momos felt better here, and it's a must try. They do have basic cool drinks in their Menu, Don't expect more than that. The spiciness here is at an above average level. It's the part of their food culture and don't complain like it's too spicy- because it meant to be served like that. I can guarantee that you will have Taste- Quality- Quantity as well as Authenticity of Tibetan Culture at this small shop.
In Weekends this place may be crowded. So plan your Visit Accordingly. Do go and talk to the guy at billing to book your table Asap when you reach. I do recommend this place for groups. Eat as much as you want and I always felt this place as pocket friendly. The people working here are super friendly and they will assist you with your requirements.
