Visited the outlet during hot afternoon and ordered kota kachori, jaipuri thali and kadhi rice. Kachori was really good, served with hot and sweet chutneys. Jaipuri thali had 2 bejad ki roti, aloo paneer spicy veg, salad, pickle and Buttermilk. Was good but the curry was too oily. Kadhi chawal had kadhi pakodi and veg pulav along with boondi raita and salad on the side. Kadhi was ok ok, didnt get the taste of Rajasthan as it was really plain, no taste of sourness or that unique kadhi taste. Reducing one star for that. Also got mini malai ghevar packed for to go,which was tasty. Apart from that, there was a wide variety of chats, sweets and namkeens available as well as samosa, pyaz kachori, jalebi, sabudana vada, pav bhaji etc. There are standing tables available and small slabs attached to walls with little space where you can sit and eat. Good for a quick bite. Would recommend snacks, chat and sweets, not meal items. Edit 1: Went again and this time ordered puri sbji, chole rice, dhokla, kota kachori and aloo pyaz kachori. Disappointed with sbji and chole both. Did not have North taste leave alone rajasthani taste. Kachori was also okok, not sure if they have changed the cook or reduced quality. Only dhokla was good. Reducing one star. Edit 2: Came after 2 years post a movie in forum Mall. Had kota kachori, khana, chai here. Kachori was good, chai was superb, dhokla was okeish. Packed 2 thalis, jaipuri thali and daal baati churma combo. Increased a star for the kachori and chai. However saw a big fat rat roaming around the outlet which let to puking feeling hence...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Kota Kachori Restaurant in Koramangala, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. This restaurant offers a wide range of vegetarian options. Not only that, they also have a delectable selection of desserts, sweets, and packed namkeens to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.
What impressed me the most about Kota Kachori was the convenience it provided. They not only offer a take-away option for those who prefer to enjoy their meal at home, but they also have a seating area where you can comfortably sit and relish your food. This flexibility ensures that all types of customers are catered to, whether they choose to dine-in or take away.
Let's talk about the food itself - it was absolutely delicious! The kachoris were crispy on the outside and filled with flavorful stuffing on the inside. The combination of spices used in their dishes was just perfect, leaving my taste buds satisfied with every bite. Moreover, the service was extremely quick.
The restaurant is situated on a main road in Koramangala, and finding proper parking can be a challenge during peak hours.
Overall, I highly recommend Kota Kachori Restaurant for anyone seeking authentic vegetarian cuisine with an array of dessert and sweet options. The food is mouthwatering, the service is fast, and the convenience of take-away or dine-in options is truly appreciated. Just be mindful of the parking situation, as it can be a...
