Momoz — Restaurant in Bengaluru

For several of reasons, I would never suggest this place to anyone. The service is terrible. They hand you a menu card as soon as you walk in, but they never return to accept orders despite your repeated requests. After placing the order, you must wait at least 45 minutes to receive the starter, and you must wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes for the following starter (you will only receive it after a reminder; the normal response is that your order is almost ready). We were forced to cancel the main dish because the restaurant took over two hours to serve just two starters. The other people who showed experiencing the same problem and left. As soon as we, We gave the owner feedback and he apologized, saying, "Sorry, we had too many online orders and takeaway." This was not the response he had anticipated. In summary, the food was awful. Rudest waiter! Just flat out denied serving a soup because he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Spoke to our table as if we were beggars eating free food. After that conversation I almost expected him to spit into our food that would get served.

I used to go to Momoz because their soups are great. It was good today too. However, I had ordered pepper prawns and the dish that came to the table STUNK LIKE A SKUNK. I even tasted the prawn and it tasted VERY bad. When we complained he said it's because the dish has black bean paste! Sir, no sir!! I know what a dish with black bean paste tastes like. And what is a funky sauce like that doing in a simple pepper prawns starter?

I've been going to this restaurant since 2009, the food has been great and service good. I went there last night with my family and I had a group of drunk boys on the adjacent tables take pictures of us. The management was very ignorant of this. The waiters there apparently don't speak English or Hindi, because two of us told him to not open the water bottle about 4 times before he did and started pouring it into glasses. When I asked to see the manager at the cash counter, the person there told me that there wasn't any manager and he couldn't reach him on the phone either. I just paid for the slice and water bottle I didn't ask for and left. Sorry guys but after yesterday's incident my journey with you ends. I'm not coming or reccomending you...
