To be honest, I was driving to go the Bangalore Brewing Co, and noticed this at the traffic jam and decided to do a quick turn and visit this instead. They have an empty plot for customer parking, so that is a big plus. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. It was 2030 when I stepped inside, and it was empty. For a minute, I contemplated turning back but realised that locals usually eat later and my time may be early. And true to that, by 2050, the place was 3/4th full. I ordered 2 starters, one mutton and one chicken and a mini biryani. The food was amazing. They accidently gave me mushroom biryani instead of the chicken one, but I decided to keep it instead as it was one of the best biryanis I have ever had. The service is impeccable , the servers very friendly and constantly on their feet checking with each patron. For something impulsive, I was happy to find a gem of a place. I suggest you go for their Hyderabadi mushroom biryani.

Located on Kanakapura Road, The Gongura Palace brings the essence of authentic Andhra meals to your plate. The restaurant offers three meal options—veg and non-veg thalis—served in the traditional style on banana leaves, which instantly sets the mood for a regional feast. I opted for the veg meal, and it turned out to be quite fulfilling. The best part? You can request unlimited servings of the dishes, which makes it perfect if you enjoy a hearty traditional spread. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, staying true to Andhra cuisine’s spicy and tangy notes. The ambiance is simple and decent, nothing too fancy but comfortable enough to enjoy your meal. The service is polite and prompt, with staff ensuring your plate stays full until you’re done. If you’re looking to explore a traditional Andhra meal in a clean and authentic setting, this place is worth a visit.

while moving around here we thought once to visit this restaurant, so We visited here during independence day. The restaurant is located on 2nd floor of the building, raguvanahalli, bangalore. If you are coming by bike somewhat okay you can find parking but by car I am not sure about the parking because for 2 wheeler we felt difficult to park. Next is restaurant is good environment but waiting time was more on that day because of holiday or what I am not sure. We waited for table 15mins and waited for food 40min once we ordered. If you are opted for thali you will get early. The food taste is good and quantity is good according to the price. I liked gungura paneer tikka and mini spl veg biriyani and hydrabadi chicken dum biryani. Overall it is good except parking and waiting time and recommended to visit once if you passing around. Thank you,

I recently visited this place with highest hopes of enjoying a delicious vegetarian meal and some flavorsome biryani. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be quite disappointing. I feel compelled to share my thoughts and provide an honest review.

First and foremost, the vegetarian dishes I ordered were a letdown. All the veg food I tried seemed stale and had an unpleasant odor. It was evident that the ingredients lacked freshness, which significantly impacted the overall taste. This made it difficult for me to savor my meal and left me feeling dissatisfied.

To add to my disappointment, the paneer rice dish I ordered was particularly disappointing. Surprisingly, it lacked any trace of paneer, which was advertised prominently on the menu. This oversight was not only misleading but also made me question the restaurant's attention to detail. As a lover of paneer, this was highly disappointing and left me with an incomplete and unsatisfying meal.

Moving on to the biryani, I was excited to try both the mutton and chicken varieties. However, I was perplexed to discover that the biryanis contained minimal meat, to the point that I could barely detect any meat pieces. The flavors were predominantly dominated by the overpowering taste of cardamom, which overwhelmed any potential enjoyment I could have derived from the dish. It felt like a misrepresentation of what a biryani should taste like, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction and a longing for a true meat-infused biryani experience.

Furthermore, the lackluster quality of the food was further compounded by the overall service. The staff appeared inattentive and disinterested, failing to address my concerns or offer any alternatives to compensate for the shortcomings in the meal.

In conclusion, my experience at [Restaurant Name] was marked by disappointment and a lack of fulfillment. The stale and smelly vegetarian dishes, the absence of paneer in the paneer rice, and the biryani's lack of meat pieces combined to create an underwhelming dining experience. The overpowering cardamom flavor in the biryanis further detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Worst place not...

Went here for lunch today and ordered veg meals and veg Biriyani. There is sufficient parking on an empty site nearby which is a huge plus! the restaurant is located on 2nd floor and you have lift access as well. The ambience is just right for a typical south indian restaurant. They offer an array of veg and nonveg meals and other dishes. The meals served were tasty and authentic. I could notice that some of the staff could converse only in Hindi. That felt a little odd for an Andra restaurant but thats not a big deal. They are polite, friendly and helpful in all means. But you know, how you expect that with meals, the rice, pappu and sides should be served quick and fast and I felt it missing here. I ended up asking the staff each time for rice and pappu. It was not like clockwork and servers with eagle eyes actively tending to the table, what we usually experience in an Andra restaurant. :) Overall, I recommend this place and a must try from my side. Am looking forward to trying nonveg dishes here in future, which I missed today. I would also recommend they introduce kids' meal with limited servings option which is a big miss in my view. We inquired about this and found there is no such option, and the table next to us with kids was also inquiring the same...

Dining at the restaurant was a delightful experience. The warm and inviting ambiance immediately set the tone for an enjoyable meal.

The menu offered a diverse range of culinary options, from local specialties to international dishes. Each dish was carefully prepared with attention to presentation and flavor. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion sizes were satisfying.

The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was well taken care of. The service was prompt, and the servers' genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine added to the overall enjoyment.

The restaurant's decor was tastefully designed, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and comfortable. The attention to detail in the interior design contributed to the overall charm of the place.

One suggestion for improvement would be to expand the dessert menu, as it felt somewhat limited compared to the variety offered in the main courses.

Overall, the restaurant provided an exquisite dining experience that combined delectable cuisine, attentive service, and a pleasing ambiance. It's certainly a place I would recommend for both special occasions and...
