Seeing the reviews on Google had a gut feeling that this mexican food joint is good as people say and yes it holds true. We were damn hungry so really didn't care about pictures

Loaded Nachos (colored) tasted really nice as it had balanced quantity of veggies nd cheese Fajita Veggies Quesadilla was absolutely on-dot and my wife who isn't really open to other cuisines loved it as well Cheesy fries had that perfect touch of spice without adding to much of it and the cheese was too good to ask for it again 😜 Mango Cheesecake was topped with an artificial mango flavor (I maybe wrong) and rest was amazing Iced Salted caramel latte was absolutely bad no taste of caramel or salt, you should better stick to Starbucks as it's their cuppa tea

Certain things that set me off leading to bad customer experience are as follows

Quantity could be little better (nitpicking bcuz they say Gourmet when I don't find it) Prepayment for every order which means everytime you want to order something new you need to go to the counter nd pay again Self service is okay but dine in customers wait too much as they are flooded with orders from online platforms Order management should be better When given a cheesecake the staff literally used his hand nd served it on a plate nd the bottom layer was all gone (he says adjust karlo) but would they adjust if I pay less for it? Seating area is filled with kitchen smoke nd few fly friends Staff attitude/behaviour should be better Definitely not a GOURMET experience which the owner...

TROT - The mexican restaurant of Kanakapura road

Trot or the Republic of Taste is a Mexican restaurant located close to Kanakpura Road. It is located on the 1st floor of the building. The ambiance is nice and modern. Even in peak summer their AC was not on, leaving customers sweaty.

We tried a variety of dishes here. Firstly, the Paneer Taco was soft and the paneer was flavorful. It comes with hot mayo, not sure why it was hot. It was filled with onions, capsicun, lettuce and tomatoes. The taste was good.

Next we had the Mushroom and cheese Quesadillas. The stuffing included of mushroom, onions, garlic along with cheese. Again it was served with hot mayo. The taste was great.

Next we had the Rice Bowl, it had many parts filled with veggies, paneer, rajma, rice, sour cream etc. The bowl was below average in taste. The rice didnt have any flavor at all.

Lastly, we had the Peri Peri Potato Burrito, it was filled with rice, potatos, veggies, rajma, cheese inside a tortilla. The taste was again very subtle, mostly due to the rice which was unflavorful.

Dont miss the Mexican Horchata, a traditional Mexican drink with rice and cinnamon. It was perfect for the hot summer.

The Toffee Praline Cheesecake was smooth and delicous. Amazing in taste.
