The Kind Roastery and Brew Room, Bellandur — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Good service, clean facilities. For washrooms, you'll have to rely on the common ones in The Bay. Internet is ok - not so fast. Barely touching 20 Mbps with light occupancy (about 3-4 tables occupied). I would preferably test internet speed before settling down to work for a few hours. For short social visits, all good. As with almost all othe restaurants in the Bay, the service quality, hospitality, etc. is good (not 5-star, but not fast-food restaurant level either). The staff are very polite and they try to make your visit a worthwhile experience.

The chairs are comfortable. And the desk height is regular. There's ample space around so you don't bump into each other's desks as you try to egress / ingress.

The only negative was that the staff (some lady - seemed like manager/owner) prompts you to order something even though you have previously placed orders. It is understandable to get visitors to spend some money in order to remain seated, but forcing them to spend despite having already spent money is just ughh! How much should tea/coffee should I keep drinking? I have already had two full cups in past 1.5 hour. Just give me a break now.

Sadly, the quality of food and beverages at The Kind has drastically gone down. Recent experiences at The Kind outlets have been oddly disappointing.

Takeaway from The Kind outlet at The Bay- Mushroom Rogan bowl was inedible. There was a lot of oil around 5-6 tablespoons floating with a runny overly salty curry. Soya Chilli used to be delicious but the one served at this outlet is extremely vinegary and sour for consumption. Also, the packaging needs to be revisited as there was considerable spillage in the delivery package. On reaching them on their Instagram handle, there was absolutely no response and rather the message was left as 'seen' twice. Previously when I have reached out, they have been rather responsive, not sure what has changed. At The Bay outlet of The Kind, music is also too loud for anyone to sit through and talk or work or read.

The Kind, J P Nagar outlet- Ordered Cinnamon Jaggery Cold brew and received The Kind Cold Brew instead. For another order of Coconut Cold Brew, there was a stale aftertaste of the coconut water which had probably gone stale.
