Typically restaurant reviews starts with good and then the bad. But this restaurant deserves to start with the bad first. All thanks to the manager "Rajesh".
One line review - Avoid this place if you want polite service and a good time with family
Detailed review: As the bill was presented we had requested for payout though Swiggy dineout as it had Mannheim listed and had a HDFC credit card offer. But for whatever issue that Mannheim has with Swiggy (which is their responsibility) he forced us to pay through dineout app which didn't have the credit card offer. But what really had to be pointed out here was Rajesh's behavior where he was not ready to listen what customer intends to say, constantly interrupting and outright rude. When we thought this is the worst service and refused to pay the service charges he forced us to pay which is against government guidelines !! Because we came with family and we didn't want to spoil the mood further for us and other diners there we paid with protest and left the place for good. I hope the restaurant is happy with a few hundred bucks they additionally made at the expense of bad customer experience. We are sure to spread the word around about our bad experience meted out to us.
Coming to the restaurant itself, the servers were really quick and polite. The manager has to learn a thing or two from his staff on this. The food is mostly south indian based with good taste but the starters quantity was pathetic for the prices charged compared to similar restaurants around.
The ambience was not pleasant due to mosquitoes and insects around
But we are not going back to...

Mannheim truly outdid itself with its culinary and craft beer scene. My recent visit to this charming restaurant was an unforgettable experience.
The moment I stepped into Mannheim, I was captivated by its inviting ambiance. The warm lighting, coupled with the rustic yet elegant decor, created a perfect atmosphere for a leisurely meal. The bar, in particular, was a sight to behold, showcasing a vast array of craft beers from local and international breweries.
The food was equally impressive. I opted for the hearty Bavarian pork knuckle, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful, complemented by a rich, savory gravy. The accompanying sides of sauerkraut and roasted potatoes were the perfect finishing touches.
But what truly set Mannheim apart was its exceptional selection of craft beers. The knowledgeable staff guided me through their extensive menu, offering expert recommendations based on my preferences. I tried a few different brews, each one a delightful surprise. The quality of the beer was evident in every sip, from the complex flavors to the smooth, creamy texture.
The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. They made us feel welcome and ensured that our dining experience was truly memorable.

Read moreI recently visited Mannheim Craft Brewery at RMZ Ecoworld, Bellandur, for a casual dining experience. I ordered Chilli Cheese Toast, Paneer Tikka, a cauliflower-based starter similar to pakoras, Onion Rings, and my usual Diet Coke.
The service was prompt and efficient, which was a positive start. However, sitting indoors turned out to be a bit unpleasant due to the presence of mosquitoes and flies, which was both distracting and disappointing.
Coming to the food, the Paneer Tikka and the cauliflower starter fell short of expectations—they were bland and lacked the flavor you’d typically expect from such dishes. I wouldn’t recommend these items. The Onion Rings, however, were a pleasant surprise—crispy and well-seasoned. The Chilli Cheese Toast was decent but didn’t stand out as memorable.
While the ambiance and service had potential, the inconsistency in food quality and the issue with pests marred the overall experience. For a place that positions itself as a craft brewery with an inviting vibe, there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in food preparation and maintaining a hygienic indoor environment. Overall, I wouldn’t rush back but might give it another shot if they address...
