As wifey's pre-birthday celebration, as a family we decided to dine in at Nasi & Mee located in a newer outlet in Bellandur, in RMZ Ecoworld tech park. While there was a dearth of other interesting dining locations that lured us, we chose to head to our planned destination of Nasi and Mee and I chose to order almost the same dishes and drinks that I had ordered from my first visit to their Koramangala outlet years earlier. Five Spice Crispy Corn, N&M Ice-Blended Milo, X.O. Fish Finger, and a Thai Green Curry were repeated from my earlier visit with friends, while we chose to also settle down with a Thai Bubble Tea iced and a Thai Chilli Prawns. All this, kickstarting with a side of Prawn Crackers that was superbly fantastic with a Singapore sweet chili sauce. The crispy corn was a great version too. The iced blended milo was fantastic, as authentic as it can get, loved it, but the Thai Bubble tea failed to impress us and we just left most of it. The battered crispy prawns tossed mildly in a dry mix of chillies, lemongrass , kaffir lime leaves and shallots was another excellent find that we loved and even considered ordering another portion, but chose to order the popular X.O. Fish finger instead. Red snapper chunks fried and tossed in a sticky X.O. sauce was good, but not as good as I remember from my previous visit. Either the fish was stale or was not cleaned properly, it was smelling extremely fishy and was so completely unpalatable that we had to send it back. We ordered the Chicken gyoza that I loved very much, but my daughter disliked it so I had to finish it off with little help from wifey. The service was prompt and friendly as we ordered two mains that we decided to share among the three, with a Thai Green Curry chicken for wifey and daughter, and a Singapore (Hainanese) Chicken Rice for me. The green curry was very disappointing with hardly any Thai flavours at all, the lack of necessary Thai herbs made the curry taste more Indian than anywhere close to Asian, leave alone Thai. We hardly touched it, as I focused on finishing my Chicken Rice, a Singaporean classic that I was craving to try. The meat was cooked well, though it looked absolutely raw pink. It was just looking raw but it was cooked just right, yet very pink. The rice cooked in chicken stock was extremely flavourful as I managed to finish it off with chili sauce, but left most of the Chicken and the extremely salty soup that was a bit too much for me. With such a mixed bag of experience in both food and drinks we chose to skip dessert and asked for the bill, quietly paid and left.
You chose a place like Nasi and Mee for the kind of consistent quality they promise to deliver, but this specific experience for a celebration was a disappointment for the whole family. While we shared the feedback on the fish, they assured that the fish was fresh and promptly agreed to not include it in the bill and agreed to replace it with something else. We did not have the heart to share our displeasure on both the Hainanese Chicken Rice and the Thai green curry, though I asked them to pack the almost untouched green curry and rice and gave it off to the security near the parking. Upon posting the feedback on our experience, the brand did get back immediately on Instagram and agreed to look into my feedback and improve in the future, and I hope to...

They currently own 4 outlets in Bengaluru and serves typical pan Asian cuisine. Their menu has been derived from street foods of Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore, tried and tested before presenting it to their customers.
We visited the RZM Eco world outlet and it was absolutely peaceful and calm. The interiors have tropical birds graffiti and the outdoor is near a small pool side with water fountains.
We kicked off by having Honey chili Lotus Stem (must try) and sipping on Lychee & Lime Spritzer and N&M Ice Blended Milo. Then came the Dim Sums- Shiitake Mushroom with water chestnut and Broccoli with Cashews. The outer layer was soft for both the Dim sums; shiitake Mushrooms were tender and water chestnut add a Crunchy twist to it.
Main course was absolutely surprise for us. The two dishes which they served- Veg Ma La Sesame Noodles and Veg Nasi Goreng was an adventure of taste for us. We were trying both the dishes for the 1st time and it was totally worth it.
Veg Ma La Sesame Noodles is Braised Tofu with sesame & szechuan fried chili sauce, topped with boiled bak choy and fresh slices of cucumber over a bed of steamed noodles.
Nasi Goreng, a Malaysian sweet and tangy fried rice accompanied with grilled Chili Babycorn, Pineapple & Carrot pickle and Korepoek. Kerupuk or Korepoek is an Indonesian deep fried cracker made from starch and other ingredients that serve as flavouring. The result of this combination was an explosion of flavors in mouth. We would personally recommend this dish to anyone!
Lastly for dessert, Fried Ice-cream & Chocolate Banana spring rolls. Well that was not something which can be penned down. The sweetness of chocolate was apt, the outer peel was crisp and bananas were sweet; what else would you ask in a dessert!
This was our experience; Your experience may be a better version of ours & we hope the same for you. Enlighten us about your visit and share your gyan with us. #NasiAndMee...
Read moreIs there an unfound love for Asian cuisine, then here is your choice:
Nasi and Mee in Ecoworld is a nice place to hang out and spend some quality time over some Asian food. I and my friends decided to hang out here for lunch on Sunday. The place looks soothing and nice, once we reach Ecoworld, Nasi and mee is located at the end of the mall behind Irish Café. Would really consider this place for the location of the restaurant.
We ordered for a Sushi veg boat. My personal favorite was the vegas which was crunchy and delicious. There is a wide range of sushi’s and each of them in the boat is an experience. Everything is made fresh and nothing is made a while ago or stale sushi. Had one of the best sushi and makai experience.
Moved ahead to order some mushroom & waterchestnut dim sum. Waterchestnut needs to be experienced, I would fall short of words to explain this dish. The waterchestnut had a bit of everything one likes in a dim sum. The Sz veg chilli dumpling was ordered, this is good for the Indian taste buds with the level of spice and flavour to it.
Dongbei baby corn was crispy but my favorite in the grills were the honey chilli lotus stem. It was crisp from the outside and had the right amount of sweetness and it had the chilli spice, which is hard to resist.
For the main course we went wild with Bok Choy, which was super healthy and delicious. The malak mushroom was fried and super tender mushrooms on the inside. Chef Sugii has planned these dishes out well. The Char Kwey Teow veg was flat noodles with a little bit of veggies and was cooked well. And we had a tender coconut mocktail along with this whole lot of main-course.
We ordered for a Panda Bao, it was as cute as in their pictures. The bao’s were filled with chocolate. It gave a feeling of lava cake in a Bao which was nice. And ended with a Matcha raspberry pannacotta is a fusion of flavors on the tongue. It was...
