Hello Folks,

Hope all is well at your end,

Sharing my experience of The Rasoiya Street (Family dining restaurant). Today's experience was not good.

TRS has been my favourite place since the last 5+years. I have visited all three branches of TRS from electronic City, HSR layout to JP nagar. The food quality is excellent and a perfect place for family dining.

My favourite dish that I have tried here is:

Starter:

  1. Dhai ke Shole
  2. Achari panner
  3. Nachos supreme

Main course:

  1. baked cannelloni
  2. pink sause pasta
  3. chilly garlic & mashroom noodles.
  4. tava pulav / triple sechwen rice.

Dessert:

  1. Coal mine

My experience has been always great at all 3 places. The Jp nagar branch is closed after covid.

With time the restaurant is failing to maintain the quality of food and experience of customers. Today I visited the HSR layout place and as expected it was a bit crowded considering the weekend. I felt the resturant is not ready for weekend crowd, The new staff appointed are not very customer friendly and often disregard the customers request and are not aware of whether it's panner tikka or achari.

Cold starters, missing items in the dish (like today mashroom was missing in chilly garlic & mushroom noodles) over flowing beverages, rude replies of staff, delay in service is least expected from my favourite restaurant.

If this degrading standard is not picked up well by restaurant owners then it will be hard for loyal customers to continue with their visit again.

Hope the msg reached the authorities and they improve the...

As soon as you enter this restaurant you get a family vibe, which justifies it's inception; from the intro that is put together on their menu card. The nagging of small kids couldn't be missed here, which could be a turn off for some but is compensated by their welcoming gesture and quick serve.

The quality of the food was top notch with good decoration/platter, dish portions were good enough and the overall experience was definitely value for money. I have rarely come across such restaurants which serve almost all their dishes well prepared and finger licking good, which is what made me write this review.

Here is the list of food we ordered:

Manchow soup - Taste was good with the spice being at medium par, as requested. Kudos to that. But the fried noodles that we got were little soggy/moist, and thus ripped it off its crunchiness. This was the only let down for me in the dining experience. (-0.5)

Dahi ke Sholay, Quattro Formiggi ( White sauce pasta ), Hunter Shaslik ( Sizzler ), Veggie Overload Pizza.

Fresh Lime Soda, Mango Lassi and Cold Coffee. -

Everything was tasty and to heart's content. The pizza was overloaded with veggies literally and tempting, which surprised me considering the price point.

All the beverages were served in different & unique glassware, wrt each ither; the Lassi being in a thick glass bottle.

In the end, instead of hand bowl we were served wet paper towels and age old phantom mints cigarettes...

We were looking for a pure Jain restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Google threw up quite a few choices but we chose TRS. It served multiple cuisines, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Chinese..... We were a family of 12 , of all age groups and varied culinary interests. So I was sure that everybody would get something of their choice. Moreover, the place had great ratings on Google.

The first thing I noticed was the ambience of the restaurant. In the pictures, TRS looked fabulous with a chic ambience and decor. But reality was far from that. It didn't look like an upscale restaurant. Anyways, we settled and ordered food hoping that would be the saving grace. And it was. We ordered sweet corn soup, minestrone soup, mango lassi, buttermilk,Paneer tikka, French fries, and spring rolls as starters. Alfredo pasta TRS sizzler and Chinese sizzlers for the main course. The soups were tasty so was the lassi and buttermilk. Panee tikka was yummm....and spring rolls too. Sizzler was served in a different style which was appealing. The taste was also great. Usually, sizzlers are served as a mixture of too many things, here there were a things neat and clean.

The only glitch was the pure Jain food. We had ordered a pure Jain sizzler, specifying what vegetables shouldn't go into it. But my mom got a piece of carrot and that spoiled our celebration. Apart from that, the place can be recommended for tasty food and...

Must say one of the best veg North Indian restaurants in Bangalore. First when I entered today to this place understood with the crowd that something’s into this place. I never checked whether it’s a multicuisine or not. Saw the name and went into. Later checking the menu got to know it’s a pure veg North Indian place. Not a problem being a bong sometimes even veg foods are delicious in its own flavours. We ordered mangolian baby corn and I must say the crunchiness and the sauce they used took my heart away. Then we had malai kofta and stuffed kulcha in mains . Malai kofta was good and succulent as it should be but I guess in gravy they used maida to thicken in instead of cashews which is normally used with cream. And also the stuffed kulcha needed some more stuffing. I don’t blame the resturant for it but it varies from chefs how they prepare it. For drinks we ordered fresh lime and sweet lassi. But on a rainy Sunday afternoon it did take my heart with its flavours. One tip if you don’t like too much noisy place don’t go there since it’s closed and with the crowd it’s noisy. But food is good. Also there service is very quick and very hospitable. Taste-4/5 Quantity-4/5 Ambience-3/5 Value for money-4/5 Service-2/5
