If you're a bakery or pastry lover, Theobroma on Banashankari Ring Road is a must-visit! I recently tried their Walnut Brownie, and it was nothing short of delicious—rich, gooey, and packed with flavor. The Butter Croissant was equally delightful, boasting a perfect blend of flakiness and buttery goodness. Their cupcakes not only taste great but are also presented beautifully, adding to the overall experience.
For those familiar with the route from Nayandahalli to Vega City Mall, Theobroma fills the much-needed gap on the left side of the ring road. It's a blessing for anyone craving quality baked goods in this stretch.
While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and taste make it worth every penny. However, parking can be a bit challenging due to the corner building location, but it’s a minor inconvenience for the treat that awaits inside.
Overall, Theobroma impresses with its delightful offerings and is a spot I’d...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered a cheesecake from Theobrama app for my son's birthday two days in advance, but it was delivered completely destroyed. When I called the shop, they told me to contact the call center. The call center said they would try to replace it, but not with the same cake I waited two days for—just whatever was available. They asked me to return the damaged cake, which they picked up within 20 minutes very promptly, but the refund still hasn't been confirmed. The call center mentioned it might take seven days, but I received no confirmation email, call, or message, and there was zero empathy for the situation. I understand that things can go wrong, but the customer service was pathetic. People pay a premium for these items, and I expected better care from customer service. Paid 870 rs for 1/2KG, which I regret and left a bad memory on a kids birthday.
I will NEVER order from this...
Read moreI feel the quality of the pastries and other eatables at Theobroma overall has fallen. While I am used to a more elevated price range for much better quality eatables in the past years in Mumbai or even the initial outlets at Lavelle Road etc. I guess this is what happens to heavy franchising.
I enjoy the Pineapple pastry from here but somehow the one I picked up today seemed very stale. They no longer make you customised brownie boxes of 4 , 6 or 8 which is also something I'm used to. The choice and quality of the brownies have also gone down.
The two men behind the counter handling the Banashankari franchise seemed quite judgemental to customers walking out just after an enquiry as the prices are premium and you do get better quality in a more local and familiar cake...
