Nandhini in recent years have had a lot of quality and taste issues so had been avoiding them from past few years but unavoidable i had to visit this branch and my fears came true thankfully it wasn't a nightmare .
First of let me say the staff was really there to hangout and chat and not serve you or attend your needs . 15 mins after we were directed to table no one took our order and we had to call the manager multiple times . Then finally after giving our order we had to wait for close to 25 mins for vegetarian thali !! The table next to us who had who ordered 15 mins later than us and that too complete non vegetarian al carte received their food before us ! It was ridiculously ! Then we had to summon the waiter again and remind him we haven't received our food then we were served .
I would also like to note that the management is so careless that there was no water in the washroom ! And they were least bothered to inform any customer who were going to use and I had call the manager and tell him twice that someone might get stuck in the bathroom so either inform them or make arrangements for water !
Finally coming to food , I have definitely had better food for the same price but the quality was good thank god and taste was very very average .
There was no chapati , no puri or anything we were directly served rice .
There were 3 curries , the Papu Kura was good , the brinjal was very very strange I didn't like , then there was radish curry! It was like me eating at my house only my mom's cooks way better .
There was only one palya , aloo dish , it was extremely bland and had no taste .
The rasam fortunately was good .
The curd was definitely not fresh although the buttermilk was good.
Overall I feel Nandhini is wasting their market on Andhra styled food , they are still what I expected once a king now arrogant food chain that just refuses to improve
being a person from Andhra there is nothing to be proud of in the food they served and the way they served it . And to add insult to injury the staff was just hopeless .
This is the last time I visit any of their branches not because of experience at this restaurant but the consistent disappointing experience that almost all the Nandhini branches successful provided...

First disappointment: We had to wait a lot to call someone to place an order or ask for water. Not that all the tables were occupied but the servers and the person taking the orders were nowhere to be seen.
Second disappointment: Half of the things we wanted to have were not available. Understandable to a certain extent but a bad experience is a bad experience!
Third disappointment: We ordered soup(chicken), chicken kebab, and paneer dry for starters. We were served starters first. When we asked where is the soup and why is it not yet served? The person taking the order was questioning the server and vice versa! They were confused. The person taking the order even confirmed that we had ordered the soup.
Fourth disappointment: After sometime, the server gave us Chicken pepper stating that's our pending order. We had not placed this order at all but they were adamant about it!
And let's not even begin with the taste for the main course. We ordered Andhra Chicken Masala , Paneer Butter Masala, Butter roti, Kulcha, Butter Naan, Stuffed Kulcha, and Jeera rice
Paneer butter masala was half cooked OTM with some chunks of paneer. Horrible taste.
Can you imagine someone going wrong with roti? If your answer is no then do visit here and change your mind because roti never tasted like roti. Only stuffed Kulcha was good.
I do not complaint over the food but this indeed was a very disappointing experience for me. I've had at other locations of Nandhini Delux and my experience was splendid.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Nandhini Deluxe Restaurant, Devegowda Petrol Bunk Branch on both 31st May and 1st June 2025. On 31st , I ordered a Veg Meal and was served a substandard Dal, far from the usual Nandhini standard. When I requested an additional serving, I was given Moong Dal Khichdi instead. Upon questioning, the server falsely insisted it was their regular Dal. The manager then argued instead of addressing the issue, showing complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Later, another senior staff member admitted they had run out of the usual Dal and had simply substituted it without informing diners—an unacceptable practice. Meanwhile we heared noise from another customer on dal who actually ordered the meal after us. Restaurant could have informed customer about non availability of Dal instead they served non standard dish.
The next day, I ordered a Pappu Dal bowl via Zomato, only to receive yet another non-standard Dal. On calling the restaurant, they again admitted their regular Dal was unavailable but had sent an alternative without informing customers. To make matters worse, one manager disconnected the call, while another promised to look into the issue and call back but never did.
This repeated pattern of misleading customers, arguing instead of resolving complaints, and failing to uphold the restaurant’s own standards is completely unacceptable. If Nandhini Deluxe values its loyal customers, it must take accountability and ensure transparency and quality in its service.
