Another of those good places that have turned bad. Best avoided.
Inconsistent pricing - Rs 700 at the time of placing order became Rs 900 next day. Upon showing the bill from the previous day, they agreed to the original quote. Which is why I thought my experience should give this place 2 stars instead of 1. But as I wrote the rest of the review, I figured they don't have any redeeming qualities.
They defended their mistake of making the cake in the wrong shape with a ridiculous excuse of size of the photo given for printing onto to the cake. A square shape order was mistakenly made into circular shape. It does not make any sense that the size of the photo affects the shape. They must think their customers are mentally challenged to accept this excuse. Would have given zero stars only for this.
Quality: meh. Nothing to write home about. Excessively sweet. Hardly any flavour. I understand pastries have very short shelf-life, but the bottom of this pastry started showing staleness just the next day, kept all the while in the fridge (except for 30 mins during cake cutting).
And, they took their sweet time to ready the pastry after I went there at their commited time.
Best avoided. A pity, since just few years back, I remember their cakes and pastries...
