Update to the owners response: So you cannot be cheap and good, but the fact is you weren't good either, you dish was salty dry and over cooked so don't tell me you were good, because you weren't...and how pathetic are you ? You dont even accept your mistakes... Fyi i did not want to be rude but here it is your food sucked big time and it was below sub standard.

So here how our experience with the owner went today. We have a 15 member gathering at our place on Sunday, so my mom requested some sample(not for free) before she decides to place a big order. The food was not upto our requirements also the quality and quantity did not justify the pricing when pointed out he taunts my mom by calling her a master chef and also he brags about how big he is and etc etc so when my mom asked "dada you mean saying you are big and my standards are small" he replied "saying yes". Then when my mom pointed out because of his failed quality of food we she has decided to prepare the fish item by herself. To that he replied saying do not compare his business with her buying fish and frying fish

To whoever the owner is, am sorry to say you are unprofessional and you do not deserve any respect from your customers for your behaviour. Any good businessman or a restaurant owner will welcome feedbacks and work on it, instead you decided to mock an elderly lady.

And as for my credentials i consultant kitchens in couple of the restaurant and pubs, i do know how the business works and what value for money for a dish means.

Your chicken pakoda was majorly dough and had hardly any chicken in it. Your paneer pakoda was too dry. Chicken kebab had more bones than meat on them. Your fish fry was too salty and dry (over fried)

When your quality is like this, under no circumstances can we trust you with a larger order. Hence we decided to not give our order to you.

Fyi: if you are not capable of taking feedbacks then i suggest this business or any business alike is not your cup of...

First tm Odered food on Bengali new year..food was quite ok..we odered dal, bhetki Paturi, prawn malai curry and chicken kosa..prawn malai curry was bit sweetish rest all were ok..seeing that I odered once again but that tm food was horrible..I odered spl veg Thali in which dhokar dalna/aloo gobi/ echor and panch misoli and Sukto was there but sukto was missing and i opt for dhokar dal and alo gobi but instead of dhokar dalna they gave alo pumpkin sabji..moreover the dal and rice were day-old..definitely will oder in...

Tried the Kolkata style chicken biriyani. It was very good. Will recommend and order again in the future. I will update this review as well after trying out new dishes. Ordered Mughlai Paratha and Egg Chowmein. Both were very good. Tried the Toothsome special veg thali as well. All the items in the thali were good. The Shukto was excellent. Please keep up the good work..Review after a few more orders. They are not consistent with the food. Sometimes they serve food which...
