Vinny's — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Vinny's...! A nostalgic place for a bengalurian, one of the firsts in wood fired pizza and a cool hangout spot... All of this was a use to be description. Visited vinny's yesterday in the night , the place was empty , we dined in and was wondering how to go about it, we called for help with the menu card, a guy hands over the menu card , and interacts nothing with us.. We ordered a mozzarella cheese sticks and 2 slices of Paneer Tikka pizza. Waited for the order to arrive. Mozzarella sticks were okay nothing too impressive was quite good. But pizza for a Panner Tikka flavor was not flavorsome. Just the feeling of wood fire on the crust felt good. Amidst the growing Bengaluru, finding a Café in every nook and corner, the place has to be upbeat and happening. I don't see this happening, the owners might have given up on the business. Bengalurians crave for ambience presentation music people and lastly the food. Looking for this place to come back in the game. Improvements -

Train your staff to be more vocal Presentation of the food could get realllly better, for a restaurant/cafe we don't need to feel like "we are eating this at home" kind of cutlery , the water glasses seemed tooo old, the pizza plate almost felt like a household one and wouldn't even want to touch the oregano chilli flakes bottles since they did not seem fresh at all. Appreciate the concept of Pet friendliness , but needs to maintain the surroundings also accordingly, went inside to use the washroom, the closed area of the place smells, not very welcoming. Choice of music or the Ambiance , could keep it more lively with some happening songs or lights, don't want to feel like , have been sitting in a bar listening to old Hindi songs.

Vinny's is a chain of casual dining restaurants where a group of friends of families can come and enjoy delicious Pizzas & other Italian treats. The economical menu caters to people of different age groups. This outlet is situated opposite to BDA complex in 2nd stage in Banashankari. A nice ambience and quality food are what they offer. Whether it is lunch or dinner, they serve them all with ample choices and that too of good taste.

Menu had varities like Soups & Salads, Appetizers, Main Course, Pasta - Penne or Spaghetti, Thick Milkshakes, Thin Crust Pizza Veg, Thin Crust Chicken Pizza, Desserts, Mocktails & Soft Drinks.

I ordered Mozzarella Sticks Gralic Bread & Cheese Mix Berry Cheesecake Shake 3 Veg Toppings Pizza Alfredo Sauce Pasta Banoffee Pie.

• Mozzarella Sticks - Actual Mozzarella tossed with batter & deep fried. Served with tomato ketchup. It was really cheesy & good in taste.

• Garlic Bread & Cheese - Garlic Bread topped with Mozzarella cheese. Bread was crispy & soft.

• Mix Berry Cheesecake Shake - Unique concept of serving cheesecake. Mix Berries shake is something really new in the menu. It was thick & chill served.

• 3 Veg Toppings Pizza - I choose Mozzarella, Sweetcorn & Broccoli. Thin crust pizza was crispy & thin. Toppings were fresh & good in taste.

• Alfredo Sauce Veg Pasta - Fettuccine Alfredo or fettuccine al burro is a pasta dish made from fettuccine tossed with Parmesan cheese and butter. As the cheese melts, it emulsifies the liquids to form a smooth and rich sauce coating the pasta. It was served with plain garlic bread.

• Banoffee Pie - Combination of Banana & Coffee served in a pie. It was rich & tasty.

Visited vinny's long back for my college reunion .....its an Italian styled food court placed smack in the middle of pizza hut and McDonald's! In the busy area of BDA complex... I really loved the ambience....open space umbrella canopies and sitting arrangement and open kitchen.....its really nice.....and also its not much crowded... We ordered couple 3 topping varieties (80 bucks) and 5 topping (90 bucks )varieties also a margarita whole pizza(280) and a white sauce pasta(130 bucks) and some French fries(80 bucks) ....I was in love with the pizza ....the thin crust ....the smoky flavour of oven baked crust ....the cheese ...it was amazing! You should definitely try it ......French fries were so so ....not too good not too bad ......the white sauce pasta was really good....it was a little bland for my taste but I wouldn't complain about it cause I generally eat more spice than usual .....I badly wanna try the lasagna ..Will update the review once I try ... The prices are quite low.....probably the lowest in the locality for some good Italian pizza and pasta .... My only suggestion for improvement.....train your staff to be a little more attentive....they didn't help us much yesterday ....we had to join tables and add chairs ourselves..there were 8 of us .....and also we had call one of the waiters every single time to clear the plates..... Conclusion....extremely affordable ...and really good food....and great ambience.....definitely suggesting this...
