HighDrate Restopub Banashankari — Restaurant in Bengaluru

HighDrate has opened at a new location: BSK 2nd stage right opposite to the 2nd stage park, above Domino's. If you look from the outside, it looks like a very cramped space but I was dazzled at how they have utilized the two floors above to construct one of the most beautiful pubs I've seen till date. It has 2 floors. The second floor is completely open to the afternoon sun or the night's moon. We went on a full moon day to the top floor and it was a vibe. The second floor even has a waterfall and a small pond set up which is absolutely adorable. Absolutely loved the vibes given by the architecture.

The staff members are quick to take orders but the food was being served at a slighter slow pace probably because the place is still new so I'd cut them a little slack for sure.

Coming to the food and drinks, we weren't disappointed at all. The beer was pretty much evenly priced as everywhere else. The mocktails were very well represented and had unique flavours to offer. We ordered a bunch of starters like the paneer chilly, fries and crispy corn and fried rice. None of the dishes failed to impress. Though they took their time to get to our table, it was definitely worth the wait.

All in all, this is a very cute looking place with an impressive ambience with a variety of food and drinks that are absolutely worth the price. The experience was much more worth than the price we paid for the bill so I'd definitely recommend people to try this place out if you're looking for a pocket friendly place that offers one of the best dishes and drinks around...

Dropped by this pub with some friends and ordered a 1.5L pitcher of beer. Pretty straightforward — the glasses are marked 300ml, the pitcher is marked 1.5L — so obviously, we expected to get 5 full glasses out of it. You’d think basic math isn’t too much to ask for, right?

Well, surprise! We barely got 4 full glasses and a sad little half-glass. When we asked the manager about it, hoping for a reasonable explanation, we were told, “That’s how it pours. You should ask Budweiser.” Oh, okay — so it’s not their fault they can’t serve beer properly, it’s the fault of... the glass manufacturer?

Either they think their customers failed primary school math, or they’re just lazy and hoping no one notices. Honestly, blaming Budweiser for your short pours? That’s a new level of stupid. Either your pitcher isn't really 1.5L, your glasses aren’t 300ml, or someone’s skimming the top and playing dumb about it.

Won’t be going back — unless I suddenly feel like paying full price for 80% of what I ordered and being gaslit by someone who thinks “talk to Budweiser” is a solid customer...

Gliding rooftop & artificial waterfall makes the ambience beautiful.

Unlike other Restopub that places only Hindi & English songs, they also play Kannada songs which is quite rare to find in Bengaluru. Also they have live screening, so if you like to watch match on big screen, it's a perfect place.

When it comes to food, I really liked their loaded Nachos, Paneer Tikka Sizzler, Chicken Ghee Roast and Dragon Chicken. Pizza & pasta are simply delicious. They have continental and South-Asian cuisine too, that are need to explored.

Also try out their cocktails which are quite refreshing. Their Beer got really good kick, they also serve woodpecker beer which is made out of jolada.

In desserts, don't forget to try their brownie sizzler, and Tiramisu.
