I am truly surprised and disappointed by the content shared by Odisha Food Bloggers, as they appear to be providing misleading information and promoting subpar food experiences. Recently, I visited a restaurant based on a food blogger's recommendation and ordered 2 portions of mutton, 2 servings of rice, 2 papads, and a water bottle, totaling Rs. 670. Despite the seemingly reasonable price, the quality of the food was extremely poor.
The mutton, priced at Rs. 300, was served in 8 pieces, but none of them were edible due to being half-cooked. This is unacceptable, especially considering the cost. Additionally, I tried a fish fry, which was also disappointingly lacking in quality. It's essential for these establishments to prioritize delivering satisfactory meals to their customers. In this case, two individuals paying Rs. 600 for mutton should receive at least a few edible pieces.
My dining experience was so unsatisfactory that I had to discard all the mutton pieces and settle for finishing my meal with potatoes in the mutton curry. I urge food bloggers to thoroughly understand Odia cuisine before making recommendations or producing videos.    Read moreThey give you unnecessary items as complimentary by saying the food will take time to prepare and then they charge for it. They give you water bottles by refilling and then charge you for it. Some items are expensive while you can get best quality at other high rated resturants at reasonable price. The man sitting on the counter is so rude, he doesn't know how to behave with a customer. They don't even mention what else they are going to give with the mentioned item, for example : we asked for mix bhaja and they served several items with it like badi chura, aloo bharta and an extra bhaja and then charge for it. The most unpleasant place to visit till now in my 5 years of living...

Waiters behavior is not good. I figured three instances in my one visit where these guys are talking rudely to customers including me.
They are charging a descent price when compared to the locality but food quality and taste is not good.
Atmosphere is really crowded. They added as many as possible tables in a small place. Table sizes are too small to accommodate 4 people. Wash basins are not cleaned properly. Hygiene and cleanliness could have been better.
Haven't tried Nonveg dish but due to this overall experience, won't recommend anyone...
