My last experience at AB's was ridiculous at Sec V. Still because of my friends I needed to visit this branch of AB's because they saw them on Youtube. But they hardly knew the truth.

Starters (2/5) A premium buffet charging you Rs.900+ on weekends and there was not even a single mutton starter in the menu. Although they market Mutton Seek Kebab by youtubers and serves Chicken Seek Kebab to normal consumers.

Only 3 kinds of kebabs were served on griller Mustard Prawn, Chicken Tikka & Fish Tikka. In every stick they gave only 3 pieces that also in the interval of 15-20 minutes. Our plates were mostly empty because of their extremally slow service although the restaurant was empty that day. We needed to wait for almost an hour to get Chicken Tandoori and Seek kebab.

Wish Grill (1/5) I wish there wasn't any Wish Grill at AB's because your food wishes are jokes to them. Their staffs are so "Kanjoosh" at wish grill that if you ask for something they will only put 2-3 chunks of that meat in the bowl. We were 6 and I asked him to make it for 6 people and he only put another small chunk in the bowl. So ridiculously insulting, that it feels we were there taking food for free.

There was hardly any rabbit meat, Duck was smelling bad, Octopus wasn't fresh, Shark meat I didn't like, Chicken felt really bad to taste. Basically every item was bad and they hardly cooked it properly. Wish Grill is only good for taking photos and showing off on social media.

Mains (2/5) They've now moved Biryani to separate Handi in wish grill section hence quality has improved a bit but not much. Butter chicken was good. Apart from that every item was disgusting, specially mutton.

One of the worst mutton you can get at any restaurant, no taste, smelly and not edible at all. There was Egg Curry and Rui Macher Jhol for that premium price really? Are you kidding me?

Dessert (2/5) AB's already fails in dessert section because they don't offer Kulfis like BBQ Nation. AB's Paan Ice Cream is a joke in front of BBQ Nation's Paan Kulfi. Jilapi, Angoori Gulab Jamun and Payes was good but apart from that mostly maida based cheap desserts. Mousse and cake weren't really impressive at all.

Conclusion: The only area where AB's scores is their marketing team and they're brilliant. Every few months they invite lots of Youtubers, feed them for free and ask them to make videos and promote them on social media as much as possible. They prepare separate menus with 120+ items for the vloggers to create the hype and create a fake illusion of their good food and service.

But when you book them with your own hard earned money you don't get most of the items they promoted through videos. So remember you're just paying them back for the free food they served to Youtubers. Truth said...

ABSOLUTE BARBEQUE IS NOW AT BAGUIHATI 😱 Yes you heard it right, now all of yours favourite absolute barbeque buffet is in Baguihati. Absolute barbeque is one of the finest and my favourite barbeque buffet in the town. They have opened up their new outlet at baquihati vip road just opposite to BigBazar . I love their buffet and they are my favorite for some specific reason and the first reason is that they are first buffet restaurant to serve a live wish grill counter where you can grill your own customised exortic meats and they have a speciality in this wish grill section where they serve rabbit, octopus, quail, duck, shark but my favourite exortic meat is the shark meat. They have a huge variety of menu from starters to main course and the dessert. The entire buffet has over 100 items and it is next to impossible for an normal human being to complete all the dish. So i have visited their ruby outlet and really loved and though some items specially in the dessert section , I wanted some changes in the taste and surprisingly they had come up with lot of improvement in the dessert and my mind has completely changed and after visiting baguihati outlet now my favorite part is the dessert . Though I tried to cover the entire buffet but I failed. There were barbeque items in veg and nonveg in the starter which includes pineapple, mushroom, watermelon, prawn, chicken and fish and they also serve a tangdi chicken, mutton seekh kabab , crispy babycorn, kashmiri kabab and potato kabab. Though my favorite was the fish, prawn and tangdi kabab. In the street food section, they had a lot op option where I tried keema pav and it was really great and in the wish grill part as usual I tried my favorite exortic meat that is shark . The main course was a huge section with veg and non veg items along with two highlight items which is kind of chef special. As a non veg lover I mainly tried the non veg items and specially the highlight items but the veg section was also great with some great dishes like kadhai panner and chena kofta. The main course was good specially the highlight menu that is handi mutton and basanti pulao. Though I love their butter chicken which I usually try with garlic nun and also loved the mixed fried rice with chilli chicken. Lastly coming to the dessert section, the most exciting section for dessert lover , honestly I was not that excited for the dessert but I literally got shocked as the dessert became the show stealer and just was above expectations. I cannot mention any particular as all of them was so good and at last the icecream was also great .
