Banquet Hall Review: VIVIANA Banquet Hall
I recently had the pleasure of attending an engagement event at The Viviana banquet hall, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in many ways.
Location: Situated near to the airport area , the venue is easily accessible for guests, with ample parking available, which is always a plus.
Ambiance: The hall boasts a stunning interior design, combining elegance with modern touches. The lighting was adjustable, allowing us to create the perfect atmosphere for both the ceremony and the reception. The overall ambiance contributed significantly to the event's charm.
Capacity: We had around 250 plus guests, and the space was more than adequate. It felt spacious without being overwhelming, allowing for comfortable movement.
Facilities: The hall was well-equipped with clean and accessible restrooms. They provided tables, chairs, and beautiful linens, which saved us a lot of time and effort in planning.
Catering Options: The in-house catering service was fantastic. We chose a buffet-style menu, and the food was delicious and well-presented. The staff was accommodating and helped us customize the menu to suit our guests' preferences.
Staff: The team at the banquet hall was incredibly professional and attentive. From the initial inquiry to the day of the event, they were responsive and willing to assist with any requests we had. Their friendly demeanor made the planning process much smoother.
Pricing: The rental fee was reasonable, especially considering the quality of service and facilities provided. They offered various packages, making it easier to find something within our budget.
Reviews and Reputation: I found numerous positive reviews online, which reassured me when making my decision. After experiencing the venue firsthand, I can see why they have such a good reputation.
Flexibility: The management was flexible with our requests and made adjustments as needed, which was greatly appreciated.
Technology: The venue is equipped with audio-visual facilities, which were essential for our presentations and entertainment. Everything worked seamlessly.
Overall, my experience at The Viviana banquet hall was fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-managed venue for their event. I would certainly consider hosting another event there...

I wonder how this place is rated so high. Especially when their service is so poor, I better had eaten, and cooked at home and served myself.
They don't seat customers properly. Don't ask for water, don't even give you plates.
Took 25-30min just to serve first apetisers or starters. That too after following up with the manager.
The original waiter seemed to have forgotten about the orders completely.
Once the food came to the table they didn't even bother to serve or even give the plates to the people.
This continued as even the desert took 10min to come after finishing the main course.
The food was more or less ok but the fesh and chips had too much pery pery powder on top.
The complete lack of service absolutely made us furious. It was a special occasion and they completely ruined the mood.
The desert again was completely dry. I specifically asked whether the desert will have icecream, they confirmed it will have one scoop icecream, but what came to the plate was almost nothing in icecream, one or two half spoonful at best. That too was smashed, not scooped. It felt someone just threw the last bit of vanila icecream left. Refer the image, that was what we got, not after eating.
They even had the audacity to ask while leaving, was it your first time? Did you enjoy the food? Etc. But when I asked the manager earlier he just justified and did not seem to care about the feedback or the bad service.
Well rather than asking people fix your issues first. Yes, that was my first visit and there will be no second one again. Even though the restaurant is very near to him, I would rather eat from a footpath...
Read moreAerosky Bar and Kitchen offers a unique experience with its rooftop setting and a revolving bar that gives you a stunning 360-degree view of Kolkata. The location near the airport adds a special touch, especially if you enjoy watching planes take off and land while sipping on a creatively crafted cocktail.
The ambiance is definitely one of Aerosky’s strong points—it’s perfect for a date night or a casual evening with friends. The décor is modern with a slight futuristic vibe, which ties in well with the aerial theme. The indoor and outdoor seating options provide flexibility depending on your mood or the weather.
When it comes to food and drinks, the menu is diverse, with something for everyone. The cocktails are inventive and worth trying, though some might find them a bit overpriced for the portion size. The food is generally good, with a few standout dishes, but overall, it didn’t quite hit the mark for the price point. It’s clear that effort is put into presentation, but the taste occasionally falls short of expectations.
Service is where Aerosky could improve. While the staff is friendly, they seemed a bit overwhelmed during busy times, leading to slower service and a few mix-ups with orders. That said, they were quick to apologize and correct any mistakes, which is appreciated.
Overall, Aerosky Bar and Kitchen is worth a visit for the view and the vibe, especially if you’re looking for a unique dining experience in Kolkata. Just go in with the understanding that while the atmosphere is top-notch, the food and service might not...
