Goutam's on EM Bypass is a very popular drive-through. In the evening, you'll find many people park their cars to enjoy food here. Mostly expensive cars, so their prices are bit high. There is no dine-in, you sit on the road or in car to have their food and still pay GST. These two are their most popular dishes. Fish Orley @ Rs.240 (3/5) Crispy Babycorn @ Rs.200 (2/5) The baby corn was over-fried, a bit dry, too saucy, and salty; it seemed food coloring was used. As you can see in the pictures, the portion was very small for the price. Fish Orley consisted of 5 batter fry tossed with onion, capsicum and black pepper. It was mediocre in taste. People come here because they struggle to find parking, but for the food, Goutam's is quite average.

As per their website it was in 1995 Goutam visualized a food outlet where food & beverage would be served in different manner. P eople visiting the stall will have different ambience, that could be a coffee house for hot and cold beverage or a roadside dhaba on highway. Gautam’s perseverance and innovations have made 3 outlets, one at the Ground Floor of Mani Square Mall, one in front of Salt Lake City Center and the third on EM By pass one km from Ultadanga.

Located opposite to City Center 1, this is a roadside eatery. Seemed quite popular. Has a variety of items. However the price seemed a bit on the higher side as compared to the quantity. I ordered mixed schezwan noodles. It was written ₹200 on the menu but when I got the bill it was ₹210. They charged 5 rupees for each parcel boxes. The food quality was good that I must mention. Service i would say wasn't very quick.

One of the oldest street food joints of Kolkata, which has become very popular with time.. they serve a variety of fast food, which include Chinese, Rolls, Tikka, and cold and hot coffee. Generally, food is served in the car, but they have some outdoor seating arrangements as well.. The food is delicious and doesn't pinch much on your pocket.. serves till late at night, this place is a must go for fast food lovers..

I don't know why Google says permanently closed. I visited yesterday. Although the footpath is dug open for sewage work, but Goutams is by no means closed. Food quality is not great at all. We had the fried rice and veg chowmein. They were not at all close to being good, very dry, bland and lacked taste. The highlight of Goutams has always been Cold coffee with ice cream and chocolate shake. They're good.
