Our Pathetic Experience at #Lusscibo: A Satirical Tale
The Grand Plan: We planned our son's 3rd birthday at #Lusscibo on 2nd October. Called them 10 days in advance, explained our grand plans (decorations, number of guests, food choices, etc.), and they agreed to give us a separate spot.
Double Checking on our end: On 1st October, we visited Lusscibo again to confirm all details and ordered some starters. They promised us a section beside the window, a closed area for 14-16 people, decorated with balloons. We paid INR 1000 in advance, including INR 600 for decorations. They noted everything in their diary and gave us a visiting card with "advance payment done" written on the back.
The Big Day Disaster: At 7:30 pm, one of our invitees arrived and found no decorations and other people lounging in our reserved area. When she asked the staff, they blatantly ignored her. We called the restaurant, and they casually informed us that the decorator had a personal mishap. Seriously? Is there only one decorator in all of Kolkata? Only #Lusscibo knows! This level of incompetence is beyond infuriating!
4: Manager’s Fake Apology: After hearing these vague excuses, we asked to speak to the manager. He casually apologized and admitted they forgot to arrange the decorations, as if it wasn’t a big deal. He assured us he would try to fix it within the 10 minutes it would take us to reach the restaurant. Spoiler alert: he didn’t.
5: Arrival Shock: Upon arrival, we were greeted with the sight of strangers lounging in our designated area. The staff, in their infinite wisdom, decided to seat us near the entrance, where there was barely enough space for 8 people. They generously provided 13 chairs for our group of 16. After we pointed out this glaring oversight, they miraculously found 2 more chairs, but we still ended up with 15 chairs for 16 people, leaving our birthday boy to sit on our lap. Bravo, #Lusscibo, bravo!
Perfectly Planned Evening Ruined: They completely ruined our evening! Not only was the seating and decoration mishandled, but they also served us the wrong drinks, which they later corrected. By then, we were all deeply disappointed. The manager did not follow up after the first phone call, and except for one waiter, no other staff member seemed remotely apologetic for their blunders. To add insult to injury, they didn't even offer a special discount on the bill as a token of apology. This caused significant embarrassment in front of our guests. #Lusscibo, the SPOILER!
Final Verdict: Avoid Lussibo for any events. Their unprofessional behavior and lack of hospitality were shocking. We deserve a serious apology from the management. Why take on responsibilities they clearly can't handle? #Lusscibo, you've set a new low for customer service!
