I am an overweight American who has been in India for 5 months and I have been loudly complaining that I cannot get an "american-style" milkshake. I had have 5 or 6 failures (which was really starting to get under my skin), including the famous "milkshake" at Keventer's in Darjeeling -- that was NOT what I wanted. This Nutella shake at No Strings Attached was the best milkshake I've had in this country, and it's not even close! This would pass the test in any town in the U.S. It was much thicker than the others, and I was thankful for it. We ordered a series of starters. The mini mutton triangles were delightfully light, crunchy, and not greasy. The salt & Pepper crab fingers served in mini cucumber cups were very flavorful and fun. But i really want to shout of the tempura chicken wings -- I've had a lot of fried chicken in my life --> from the home of buffalo wings in western new york usa, to karaage in japan and wonder korean fried chicken in Busan ... and these tempura fried chicken wings get a place on the gold medal platform next to the best of the best. Made with precision, my only regret is my friend didn't want them spicy -- still they were on point!! Bonus: the coconut mint punch was fresh and vibrant -- reminded me a refreshing pina colada without the rum ... maybe i'll swing by again and add some of my own rum at home.

Located at the Kathgola Islands in the x’ing of 6th Cross & 1st Avenue of Salt Lake, Sector II (BH-24 to be very precise) this is indeed the newest food joint of Salt Lake which was opened only on 1st May 2025. The location of this just 2 months old baby restaurant is very prominent - just can’t miss this if you are travelling along 1st Avenue. Free car Parking is in the street & there is ample space for car park. Good choice of menu - all continental, tasty & served with good display value. Spanakopita with dips & Mini Mutton Triangles stole our hearts as starters. Fish Sizzler came with the freshness of real Bhetki. The dessert “Crème Brûlée” was simply WOW - a perfect balance of sweetness & creaminess. Coming to the interiors the decor is nice. The staff members are very polite & their service is very good.

Unlike on our first day visit when we had a continental dinner, on our second day, we mainly tried out Asian cuisine. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out well and wasn't upto the mark. We ordered :- Mixed Wanton Soup that tasted refreshing with lots of ingredients. Chicken Spring Rolls that were crispy, and delicious. Mutton Mini Triangles that resembled mutton samosas but the stuffing needed to be spiced up a bit more. Khao Suey that came with all the necessary accompaniments but somehow tasted bland even after adding salt... (Something was missing, probably sweetness or tanginess. There was a lack of balance in flavour that could have improved the dish further) Indonesian Nasi Goreng that looked nice with a poached egg and lots of Chicken Chunks but had a faint stink.

This is a very upmarket place, with the price tag of a modest cafe. The colour scheme, the people, the music, the relaxed seating is all that you would expect in a fine restaurant, but the pricing is very modest.

The food quality, taste and plating is excellent. Everything that I tried was superb, particularly the prawns in orange lemon sauce; especially because I have never had that sauce before.

This is one place where I will suggest that u must try some drink or the other. This is a suggestion I would normally not suggest for most other restaurants.

I tried the coconut punch......where the name was actually a deterrent, because the drink was way more exotic than the name. There were also a few others that I tried on 3 consecutive days...... unfortunately I don't remember their names, but they were all very good.

If you want a relaxed coffee, snacks or a meal in a nice cool environment, offering superb food with excellent plating and best value for money in the area, this is definitely the place.

Most of their customers were regular repeat customers, I learnt.

Go try it......I am sure you will love it......

I can't wait to visit it on my next kolkata visit again, with friends and family.

Keep up the excellent work guys......best...

I am usually wary about new cafes, but I wanted to try this one out, so went there soon after they opened doors to customers. Not only did this place live up to my expectations, but went waaaaaay beyond it! Everything from the decor to the food to the service is top notch. The place offers a diverse range of Continental and Pan-Asian cuisines which are delicious. Some of them even go beyond that and simply taste exquisite. Another funny thing is that this place made a conventionally non-veg loving person like me to gorge on some of the vegetarian dishes! The drinks were great too and you'll be spoilt with choices from decadent shakes to coolers to your choice of caffeine brewed to perfection. The serving staff was super efficient and made wonderful recommendations. So, if you can't decide what to order, please do ask them. Finally the decor! I really have no words to express the aesthetics of this place! It beautifully blends urban minimalism and rustic homeliness and adds more of joy with the trademark cartoon logo. This place has a little bit for everyone. Highly...
